From the outside we have an unassuming British terraced property, but inside this holiday home has been transformed into a unique beach hut, perfect for a party of four and a dog. Beautifully decorated with a nautical theme and only 350 yards from the seafront, this cottage is the perfect seaside retreat.
The interior of the property is decorated in a crisp, fresh white with blue and turquoise accents, a constant reminder that you’re on a beach holiday. The well sized family kitchen is stylishly monochrome, with clean white cabinets and attractive black tiles, and a separate dining area comfortably seats four. In the lounge we have two plush sofas and a TV, as well as plenty of space for a dog bed. Upstairs, the master bedroom is a king-size with plenty of space to spread out, and the second bedroom is a bright and airy twin. The bathroom features a shower cubicle, a bath and a WC, and there is a second WC right next door. To the back of the house is an enclosed patio area with outdoor seating for four, perfect for catching that last bit of evening sun – the dog will love being sprawled out catching some rays.
This property is in optimal location for a group who want to explore Torquay without being stuck in the centre and would enjoy a 1 mile walk along the seafront to get into town. Take a trip down Torquay Pier for some fresh fish and chips. For movie buffs you’ll no doubt recognise the chalky white cliff front at Beachy Head, which is only a 2 ½ mile journey from the property and has featured in films such as James Bond and Harry Potter. Be sure to visit the dog-friendly Princes Park for a wander around its scented rose garden and a journey around the lake.
