The cottage is a charmingly warm and welcoming pet-friendly cottage, close to unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages, making this the ideal base for a relaxing escape in the country.

This beautiful stone-built cottage is the perfect rural retreat for you and your favourite people and pups – sleeping five two-legged folk and three hounds. Enjoy the Cotswold’s rolling hills and stunning vistas, discovering the grand residences and castles as you go. Return to your beautiful homestead and enjoy a glass of wine, or a bowl of water, on the quaint sun terrace in the garden.

Warm your feet and paws in front of the wood burner in the lounge after a long day of walkies, or curl up and chat on the comfy sofas. Cook up a tasty meal in the stylish kitchen area and enjoy it around the solid wood dining table, while a contented Fido rests at your feet. Pass by the patches of exposed stone and traditional wood floors to rest your head in one of the two tastefully decorated double bedrooms, one with an extra optional single bed and an en-suite shower room. Relax and admire the decor and exposed beams from the roll-top bath in the stunning family bathroom. Fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco whilst Fido sniffs around the enclosed garden.

Marvel at the long distance views as you journey through picturesque villages and ancient sites on one of the many trails through the Cotswolds. Stretch your legs and sniff every scent on the circular walks, footpaths and bridleways that start from the nearby village of Moreton-in-Marsh (4 miles). Discover the history and legend of one of the most famous stone circles in the British Isles, the Rollright Stones (4 miles), believed to date from 3000 BC. After a day of adventure, enjoy treats, and a well-deserved rest at one of the dog and human-friendly pubs in Long Compton (2 miles)

Greeted by the owners on arrival. Very friendly very helpful. Recommended places to see and eat out and the local walks. The cottage was cosy warm and comfortable. The people in the village were very welcoming when we attended the Christmas carol service in the church. This place is a little gem and we will be returning in the summer months.

This cottage was perfect for two couples and three dogs. The kitchen had lots of equipment and there was space for our extra large dog bed. The provision of a stair gate was extremely helpful to prevent our four legged friends exploring upstairs. The owners were very helpful, lots of advise on where to visit
