Less than 500 metres from the path ascending Kinder Scout, this cottage will get tails wagging at the thought of the wonderful walks on offer straight from the front door. With two bedrooms, this is the perfect place for couples or small families to enjoy a peaceful holiday discovering the unspoilt beauty of the Peak District. Explore the Dark Peak, climb Kinder Scout or stroll to the local dog-friendly pub and sample some of the local ale on offer.
Enjoying a peaceful location in the village, the cottage has a handy porch area, ideal for removing muddy boots and wiping off dirty paws. After a day exploring the stunning local landscape, curl up in the comfortable lounge as your hound warms their paws in front of the open fire. Rustle up tasty meals in the compact but well-equipped kitchen to share at the cosy dining table. Reached via a steep staircase are the two restful bedrooms – one super-king-size and one single; remember to bring your pet’s favourite bedding so they can curl up in comfort too. A bright and airy bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside is a small patio and lawn area, accessed via steep and uneven stone steps, where you can enjoy the view over the rugged peaks in front of you.
Your holiday home is in a walker’s paradise with the Pennine Bridleway within easy reach.
