We loved Hazelnut cottage, it was so comfortable and had everything we needed. It was very clean and well maintained. The biscuits and milk on arrival were welcome and a nice touch. The views from the lovely double bedroom were great (when the cloud and fog lifted!) The cottage is brilliant. We were 4 friends and felt perfectly at home. There is all the needed equipment for cooking. We did not use the garden as it was a bit cold but it is really cute and it allowed us to keep our bike safe. The location was great for us, close enough to the cost path and climbing spots and it was really quiet, far enough from Read morethe main road. As we were by bike we order food online and got the delivery on the day we arrived so perfect. We will definitely come back. Hide

This is a cosy and comfortable cottage with good facilities, well equipped kitchen with lovely views. Although having the microwave on the fridge/freezer I found quite dangerous. We were also disappointed that the cottage wasn't decorated for Christmas as promised, and we had to purchase additional wood to be able to use the open fire.

A lovely cottage with great views and in a quiet location down the end of a bumpy lane. Plenty of walks right from the cottage. Be careful with the on/off control in the bath/shower - it's very stiff and will blast you unexpectedly. The bathroom basin is also rather high and makes life awkward for shorter people. Overall a lovely property. The view across the valley is stunning and the track is fine with care. The bed is very comfortable and the property is well equipped. However, the kitchen requires a thorough deep clean and a starter pack of consumables should be provided.
