Traditional honey coloured stone cottage situated in the heart of the popular Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water. Boasting a roaring woodburner, this cottage provides a cosy break away in every season.

Regularly voted as the ‘prettiest village in England', Bourton-on-the-Water is the destination of choice for anyone looking for a quintessentially English holiday in the Cotswolds. Tucked away within the heart of the village is this traditional honey-coloured cottage, which would be a perfect home-from-home for two couples holidaying together along with one canine companion. Fido will love exploring the miles of scenic walks along marked trails in the beautiful surrounding countryside and the close proximity of shops, gastropubs, restaurants and museums make this a winning location for everyone.

Inside, the cottage is warm and welcoming, featuring a cosy wood burner housed within an exposed brick surround. A fluffy rug lays on the wooden floor in the centre of the room and would be an ideal spot for your four-legged friend to warm his little paws. The separate dining area is a large, characterful place to enjoy an evening meal, with a rustic pine sideboard and dresser blending beautifully with the large stone floor tiles that lead through to a well-equipped kitchen. The two sumptuous bedrooms offer guests a relaxing place to rest weary heads after a busy day of adventuring.

Confectionery fans will be in their element here as this cottage is around 100 metres' walk from a traditional sweet shop where you can fill your pockets with handmade fudge, lollipops and Parma Violets! Also in the village is the Cotswolds Motoring Museum which is a dog-friendly destination where you can explore seven galleries all packed with vintage cars, and a fascinating toy collection. Just 10 miles away is the Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre, home to the country's largest private collection of trees and shrubs and a wonderful place for a long leisurely walk.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful cottage in picture postcard location, felt very much like home and has everything you woud need. Great space for parking and enclosed garden for the dogs. Our week started amid the Covid 19 outbreak and I would have been happy to "self isolate" here for the next 6 months. Would definitely use again. Thank you

Had a lovely few days in Hatties Cottage. Absolutely everything we needed was thoughtfully provided by the owners. We had a few issues with the Wifi but Judy responded quickly and tried to help fix the problem. Great location, only five minutes walk from the village. You wont be disappointed!

The cottage was fantastic! It was set on a lovely quiet road, with private off road parking. Took about 2 minutes to walk into in the heart of Burton (which is stunning). Beautiful, cozy property. Would definitely like to return!

Fantastic cottage, lovely and clean and a fab enclosed garden for the dogs. Lovely and quiet, but a stroll to the centre. We have visited Bourton on the Water a few times in the centre, but staying here we found lots of walks around Bourton we didn't know was there. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and would definitely recommend.

Hatties House is very well located, a few steps from the centre and the river, in a quiet street although some of the inevitable tourists walk past. Its a comfortable cottage which we enjoyed. We had no mobile phone reception however. Wi-Fi was good.

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Bourton, a short stroll of about a minute from the village centre. Very warm and cosy, so lovely to have the wood burner in the sitting room. Really handy enclosed rear garden for the dog as well. Go every year and will continue to go to this cottage.

A real gem of a cottage in a brilliant peacefull location just a few minutes from all the ammenities . The two parking spaces are a real bonus in what is obviously a very busy place in the main season. We had very mixed weather but were very warm and cosy with the efficient heating and great log burner. The house has the feel of a well loved home. Read moreWould definitely recommend and return. This is a gorgeous little cottage. The location with parking is excellent yet you are only a few mins from the centre of the village. The owners have ensured that there is everything you need in the cottage. The enclosed garden is a sun trap and our little dog loved it. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Ideal cottage.
