You can also relax in the indoor hot tub, or in the sauna, indoor swimming pool and games barn, which has a pool table, table tennis and Wendy house.
Lovingly restored, tastefully decorated and retaining original features including exposed beams, stonework and a traditional wood burner, this delightful cottage provides a memorable backdrop for a great family holiday. There’s a spacious and welcoming lounge with lots of comfortable furniture to recline on and refresh after a long day of touring. You will also find a lovely enclosed garden, perfect for a dog to run about in, with spacious lawns, a BBQ, and a seating area. The hot tub has its own changing area and shower, and the pool (open from Easter to end October) and sauna are located in an adjoining barn.
The popular seaside town of Sidmouth (9 miles) features two beaches – Weston Mouth, where dogs are welcome, and Sidmouth Beach, which has a small allocated dog area throughout the year, with dogs allowed on the main beach out of season. There are plenty of breathtaking walks to enjoy across the National Trust owned Sidmouth countryside (10 miles). Other National Trust properties which welcome dogs include the quirky 18th century house A la Ronde (15 miles), the historic village of Branscombe (14 miles) and the glorious cliff-top walks of Exmouth (24 miles).
