You would be mutts to overlook this beautiful cottage! Located in the English Riviera town of Brixham, just half a mile from the town centre and Brixham Harbour, stands this three-storey property. Suitable for up to six people and two canine companions, this seaside retreat is ideal for exploring the many dog-friendly beaches that this area has to offer – Shoalstone Beach (1.5 miles), Fishcombe Beach (1.5 miles), Elberry Cove (2.5 miles) and Scabbacombe Sands (4.2 miles) are just some of the beaches that will allow your four-legged friends to dip their paws all year round.

Inside, the property is modern and well-decorated. The bedrooms are across three floors. The ground floor houses the entrance hallway and leads through to the kitchen, which is contemporary in style and well-equipped. A small flight of stairs leads down to a WC and the cosy lounge/dining area – an excellent space for relaxing or entertaining. It’s also a great base for your hound to set up camp as it leads out to the enclosed rear garden - the number of floors and stairs in this property could prove difficult for some four-legged friends. The bathroom with bath, shower and WC is located on the first floor. There is nearby roadside parking in nearby streets or long stay public car parks located nearby.

The town of Brixham is steeped in maritime history. Boat trips, fishing trips and the Western Lady Ferry Service serving Torquay (8.5 miles), which is dog friendly, can be booked from the Harbour. Berry Head National Nature Reserve is also a great day out for you and Fido. Just 1.5 miles away, the nature reserve boasts fabulous coastal walks, beautiful views from the headland and plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife on land or at sea. There’s also an iconic lighthouse and a Napoleonic Fort to explore.

This is a lovely property, the Parking leaves a lot to be desired We only once managed to park outside otherwise it was between 400 and 600 yards

Lovely property. Comfortable and well equipped. Small but adequate lovely sunny garden to enjoy. Difficulty parking nr property as double Yellow lines outside of house, and roads very narrow. Need to be be prepared to walk steep steps in and out of town or walk around on steep path. Takes only 5 mins to walk into centre.

Lovely 4 storey property with living room/dining room in the lower ground floor. Ground floor had a well equipped modern kitchen which was kindly supplied with essential items. Ground floor bedroom is spacious. First floor bathroom is huge with plenty of towels provided. Main bedroom on this floor is a lovely big comfy room with wardrobe and chest Read moreof drawers. Single beds in loft are comfy but quite close to the ceiling. Brilliant location for walking into the harbour area. Parking is challenging Hide

We stayed for a week cottage was ideal beds very comfy nice to have a small garden very much enjoyed our stay will be back
