Property code: 56751

Peacefully tucked away within the countryside, this detached barn is simply brimming with character, a great base for couples to relax and enjoy an area steeped in history and breath taking countryside.

With incredible far-reaching views across the Cotswolds, this quaint and characterful barn is an idyllic spot for a long weekend away in the countryside. Sleeping two, it’s perfect for just the two of you - plus your furry, four-legged friend, of course! Your family trio will go mutts for the many walking and cycling routes nearby, as well as the total peace and quiet that surrounds the property.

Before even stepping into the barn, you will be struck by the spectacular rural setting, making you feel a million miles from anywhere. Inside, enjoy a lazy breakfast or your evening meal at the traditional farmhouse table, or cosy up beside the wood burner in the lounge, which can be found up a cottage style  staircase. The lounge is light and airy, with floor to ceiling windows and stylish exposed beams. Relax on the wooden balcony with your morning coffee and drink in the fresh country air or unwind in the small separate garden that’s perfect for al fresco dining.

The barn is ideally located for the National Hunt racing and festivals at nearby Cheltenham (13 miles), while its position at the eastern end of Bredon Hill means you’ll want to pack your walking boots! As well as the Cotswolds, the Malvern Hills and Wye Valley Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (25.5 miles and 36 miles respectively) are within driving distance, so you and your pup will be spoilt for choice when it comes to days out. In the springtime, you can stay closer to your home-from-home and delight at the stunning blossom as it comes into bloom, by exploring the Spring Blossom Trail between Broadway (8 miles) and Evesham (5 miles).

It's a lovely barn with great views and in a beautiful village. We found the steep stairs within the barn and outside a challenge at first but you soon adjust and this adds to the character
