Let sleeping dogs lie by the fire and relax with a glass of wine in this gorgeous cottage on the northern coast of Wales, recharging your batteries ready to explore the spectacular scenery. Tucked in the peaceful coastal village of Llanbedrog, this cosy abode sleeps four humans and three hounds in comfort, placing you close to the popular seaside resorts of Abersoch and Pwllheli, and just 19 miles from the eastern reaches of Snowdonia National Park.

Escape the chilled air and hunker down in the welcoming lounge, shrugging off your coat and wiping muddy paws before relaxing on the sofas. A crackling wood burner warms the timber-beamed room throughout from its position in the feature fireplace, providing a comfortable sanctuary for board games and film nights. There’s a handy table for feasting with the pack, sampling delicious local fare lovingly prepared in the cheerful kitchen. Upstairs, two inviting bedrooms await the weary-pawed, and there is a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Head outside to reach the pretty garden, climbing the steep steps to discover a large patio with garden furniture, a BBQ and safely enclosed lawn space for Fido to play. There’s parking outside subject to availability and an outside utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Satisfy your entire party and draw up an itinerary that makes the most of your fabulous surroundings. Take part in favourite coastal activities such as fishing, swimming, sailing and surfing, or bring the bikes to discover the area from a new perspective. Pwllheli, 4.5 miles away, and Abersoch, 3.5 miles away, have an array of eateries, and both boast beautiful sandy beaches that welcome canine visitors out of season. Travel back in time and learn about the secret smuggling history behind Pwllheli Harbour, which was also a hot spot for pirates!

This is a lovely comfortable cottage and perfectly placed to explore the local Welsh coast path. There is a fantastic pub (the ship) a few minutes walk away that serves great food and good beer. We had a relaxing Easter break here and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others for a stress free and enjoyable stay. Lovely cottage with garden, parking both on road and just up at nearby free car park were brilliant. Local pub did good home cooked meals, Sunday lunch there fabulous. Steps up to garden sitting area quite steep and uneven but handrail alongside beneficial.

Beautiful old cottage not far from the beach, which is a great place to take a walk with the dogs. The Sun Inn not far from the cottage was a lovely pub for food and drinks.

Beautiful, cosy cottage. It was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfy. Well equipped kitchen. We couldn't fault it at all. Location was perfectly for a cheeky pint at the pub. Lovely little cottage and excellent base for touring the area. Dog friendly pub 200yards away a real bonus. Dog friendly and excellent food. Not a criticism but a bit tricky with dogs. No off road walking areas and steps to outside garden not easy. We coped well so everything a compromise. Our dogs not very mobile so we struggled a bit but coped. What a lovely little cottage. The exposed stone in the living room really adds to the sense of age. And very comfy for sitting in on a rainy morning. Perfect for a family of three. And great location Llanbedrog is nice, and handy for getting round the peninsula.

A very clean cottage. The bed was so comfortable as was the sofa and armchair.. There was everything we needed for a holiday property. The beach, coastal walks and shop is within nice walking distance. We was able to park the car in front of the property the whole of our holiday. With the front door and vestibule door there was no concern about anyRead more of our dogs getting onto the road and the back garden was dog secure also.
