An attractive cottage for two guests, close to Robin Hood’s Bay on the North Yorkshire coast. A superb prospect if you are looking for a couples’ break in the countryside.
Leave no stick unfetched in the wonderful North York Moors, discovering the beautiful Robin Hood’s Bay with your beloved bowows by your heels. Perfectly suited to a romantic retreat, this charming and compact property happily sleeps two guests and two canine companions. Enjoy cosy evenings in the inviting lounge, making use of the handy dog throw to curl up with Fido on the comfortable couch.
A charming Yorkshire barn conversion, this single-storey property has been thoughtfully decorated to enhance traditional features like vaulted ceilings and original oak beams. Stop off in the hallway to hang up flat caps and leashes, before heading into the retro style kitchen. It offers more than enough space to cook for two, with a handy breakfast bar providing a space for meals. Alternatively, head to the front of the property to dine alfresco in the shared courtyard. Each day you can look forward to wonderful evenings relaxing in the lounge, with TV, Wi-Fi, books and games on offer for entertainment. Your dogs are welcome on the sofa (with use of the throw), but we’re sure they’d prefer to curl up by the flickering wood burner and doze off to sleep. Outside, there is a shared courtyard to the front of the cottage.
Don’t let sleeping dogs lie here in North Yorkshire, with an abundance of country and coastal walks on offer close by. Jump in the car and take a trip to local Robin Hood’s Bay (2 miles), playing fetch on the beach before picking up some fresh seafood to take home. You can follow the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast up to Whitby (6 miles), where all four of you are welcome to discover the magnificent ruins of Whitby Abbey. Heading deeper into ‘God’s Own Country’, visit Glaisdale (14.5 miles) to enjoy an easy-going circular walk around the picturesque Esk Valley countryside.
