You could bring more dogs by arrangement as there is plenty of space with the property being ideally placed for dogs and their owners to explore the rugged landscapes of Exmoor.
Nestling at the end of a wooded drive, the property is a cosy single-storey annexe of the main farmhouse which will remain unoccupied during your stay, allowing you some well-earned seclusion. This dog-friendly holiday cottage offers a pretty lounge with a wood burner and a stylish kitchen/diner. Have some competitive fun in the games room with a children’s size pool table, table tennis, table football, dartboard and croquet. You can unwind outside in the patio area and enjoy a sizzling BBQ banquet while the dogs roam the expansive garden in anticipation of sharing a sausage with you. There are also two kennels. Beyond the garden, you can explore 240 acres of wildlife-rich countryside and woodlands which surround the property.
The cottage lies within a picturesque valley offering you and your dogs miles of scenic walks. The South West Coast Path is just a few miles away, where you can enjoy hikes and incredible views of the dramatic Atlantic coastline. Heading up into Exmoor National Park, your dogs and you will find plenty of places to explore, including Horner Wood (20 miles) and Heddon Valley (31 miles). The bustling market town of Tiverton (10.5 miles) features a range of shops, restaurants and dog-friendly pubs. The coast of Devon and Somerset is about 20 miles to the north, with plenty of beaches near Minehead and Watchet where dogs are very welcome.
