This stylish property is set on a beautiful parkland golf course, with views over Manchester and the Cheshire Plain. Sleeping six guests and two waggy-tailed friends, the property is ideal for large families and groups of friends. You and the hounds can enjoy strolls along the footpath through the golf course, followed by a coffee in the leafy enclosed garden. The property is situated next to the club house, where you can dine overlooking the green. The doggy haven of the Peak District National Park is 3 miles away, where you’ll find endless walking routes, pretty villages, and multiple country houses to sniff and explore.

The property is decorated in a contemporary style and has a real home-away-from-home vibe, with lots of cosy comforts to make you and your canine buddies feel as welcome as possible. The bright and airy lounge/diner looks out over the golf course’s first hole and is a lovely place to unwind at the end of a busy day. Sink into the plump sofa to watch the smart TV, or come together around the large dining table for socialising and dining before heading to sleep in one of the two doubles or the twin room. Outside, your dogs will adore the mature garden, with its variety of areas to investigate.

Just 3 miles away is Lyme Park National Trust. This grand house is surrounded by 1,400 acres of dog-friendly grounds and dog walks. Pack a picnic and spend a relaxing afternoon pottering through the ancient parkland, moorland, and woodlands, looking out for the iconic herd of red deer. There are some truly stunning walks in the Peak District, including around the impressive Ladybower Reservoir (23 miles). The reservoir was featured in the classic film The Dam Busters and the views from the hills overlooking the water are breathtaking.

We have had two fantastic stays at Golf Course View. Mike is great to deal with. The place is very clean and tidy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

We had a superb stay. It was just what we were looking for. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals of our own but there were some great pubs in the area for a couple of meals out too. The house was warm and tidy. Mike was so lovely and helpful. There were no hassles finding the place or getting in.

The cottage was so homely and comfortable, three good sized bedrooms, beautifully decorated, large kitchen, washing machine and tumble dryer perfect when travelling with a baby. It was bitterly cold whilst there but cottage lovely and warm. The host was so helpful and friendly nothing was too much bother at all, even down to any problem with your cRead morear get in touch, where do you get service like that. What a little gem. Close to amenities yet in a quiet, green setting. Lovely and warm and comfortable. Fabulous garden - wasn't the weather for us to enjoy but looked great. Owner was so helpful. Overall a super place for us to meet with family - will book again!

What a lovely place! Everything thought of comfort wise. Nice big towels, comfy bedding, extra touches to make it homely. Nice peaceful location, walks on the doorstep, Lyme Park 5 mins away in the car.....Peak District easy to reach and yet M and S Simply foods, Sainsbury, Aldi 5 mins up the road. Great place to stay.

This was our second time visiting Golf course cottage in just a few weeks as its near to our family living in Manchester & a good base for us. Particularly as we usually have our 2 dogs with us. Mike the owner was as kind to us as on our previous visit and the cottage once again gave us a comfy place to come back to after lovely days spent our new Read more(& first!) Grandson, our daughter & son in law. The cottage has what you need to make yourself at home. We will be back later in the year. Hide

We were so lucky to get this booking, our daughter was due to have our grandson early so we had to do a dash from Swansea to Manchester & Mike the owner could not have been kinder. We were so stressed & worried but the cottage gave us a comfortable, well equipped base to get back & forth to the hospital & then to our daughters home. Love the cottage, in a lovely setting, ideal for golfers and an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Cottage is very comfortable and homely, beds really comfy, bedrooms very spacious, kitchen is very well equipped with all we required. I fully recommend staying in this well-equipped three bed home with pretty hanging baskets and a brand-new family-sized sofa that literally overlooks the golf course. Great location for golf lovers! House was very comfortable, with good amenities and plenty of space for 4 adults and a toddler. Mike was a perfect host and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Stayed as a family this time, but very tempted to have a golf break next time as course looks lovely!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was spotless and comfortable - it felt like home immediately. The facilities provided were above what we expected too. If we had more time free, we would have requested to extend our stay. Will certainly consider booking again when in the area.

The owner was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpfull. The cottage was lovely, clean, very comfortable and lovely details as hairdryers/tissues in the bedrooms/supply of kitchen necessities like dishwasher tablets/washing powder etc. There was plenty of storage space in the bedrooms.
