This chocolate-box thatched cottage in Wroxham offers all the space and tranquillity you could wish for on a romantic break or family getaway. With its charming blend of rustic character and contemporary style, it sleeps four guests across two bedrooms. Up to two doggie guests are welcome and they’re sure to adore roaming free in the property’s enclosed garden/patio.

Located within a complex of properties in a quiet corner of a private estate, this picture-perfect cottage has been furnished in a contemporary style without losing any of its original charm. The bright and airy open-plan kitchen/diner is the perfect place to share a home-cooked meal with your loved ones before you retire to the homely lounge where your furry friends can stretch out in front of the wood burner. The ground-floor bedroom is spacious and offers garden views, while the upstairs bedroom is accessed via an interconnecting dressing room where you can make dressing for dinner an event in itself. Outside, the cottage enjoys a large garden with a patio area, so your pups can run free while you get busy on the BBQ.

If you’re looking for happy dog walks, head to Happisburgh Beach (12 miles), with its wonderfully secluded sands and striking red and white lighthouse. Or take your pups for a pretty walk at the National Trust’s Horsey Windpump (15 miles). Standing guard over the Broadland landscape, a climb to the top is rewarded with beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. And thirsty dog-owners will love the local pub, just 1 mile down the road from the cottage. This traditional English pub has a lovely beer garden overlooking the water and a special dog-friendly dining room.

Excellent base for walking to nearby villages and driving to other esorts. Very picturesque + peaceful surroundings with the biggest garden you and your dogs could ask for.

Gingerbread is a lovely clean cottage in the most secluded and peaceful location, yet situated within very easy driving distance to Wroxham and Horning.

Our second stay in this charming dog friendly cottage this year.Brilliant base for touring the area especially the broads which are only a couple of miles away.Very peaceful and secluded with only the friendly gamekeeper saying hello as he drove past.We will definatly stay at Gingerbread Cottage again.

A very cosy warm comfortable cottage. Excellent safe dog friendly garden. We very much liked the peace,the quiet and privacy. We liked the cottage so much that within an hour of returning home we had booked Gingerbread cottage for another week later in the year.

A lovely dog friendly cottage, secluded setting but only a few minutes drive from local town. It's a really good base to visit the multitude of local attractions. Clean, comfortable and lovely and warm.

We had a wonderful week in this charming cottage and large sunny garden surrounded by mature oak trees. Peace and quiet apart from birdsong and completely private.
