Set on the spectacular Hartland Peninsula, this light and cosy bungalow offers a fantastic holiday base for a couple or a family with a dog looking to explore miles and miles of stunning rural and cliff-top walks. Hartland offers a choice of great pubs, as well as several stunning beaches ideal for all the family. Welcombe Mouth Beach welcomes dogs all year round, and dogs can join you on Hartland Quay Beach between October and April. This comfortable, quiet property features a handy games room with a pool table, dartboard, table football and toys.

This spacious holiday bungalow features a welcoming open-plan lounge/diner which is an ideal space to sit back in at the end of a great day. There’s also a sunny conservatory where you can relax, watch TV or enjoy the sun. You will also find a fully equipped kitchen. From the conservatory you can access the enclosed rear garden, where you can sit back and enjoy a BBQ, and which has space for children or dogs to play on the small lawn area.

The traditional village of Hartland is home to the famous 12th century Hartland Abbey and Gardens, with its delightful woodland, picturesque gardens and rugged landscapes, and which is a fantastic place to explore for both people and dogs – so long as they don’t chase the peacocks. There are breathtaking coastal walks to enjoy, looking out over the Atlantic Ocean, and the village offers a range of restaurants, pubs and craft shops. The historic seaside village of Clovelly is just 5.5 miles away, and the whole family, including your dog, can enjoy the Milky Way Adventure Park (5 miles).

Could be a great place but needs updating .As stated above the beds are uncomfortable, a King size in double room is necessary.Bed linen and curtains need replacing as street lamp shines through. The little tv in lounge has a strange purple colour cast and needs replacing with a big tv and Freeview system to record programmes.New sofa in lounge is Read morehard and won't last long I suspect! Lovely and clean cottage, with everything you need for your stay. The tea/biscuits etc was a lovely surprise when we arrived all the way from the Peak District. Lovely little garden to sit out on. We had family staying in another cottage up the road and I would definitely recommend this cottage. I would stay again if we ever came down to Devon but Read moreunfortunately its such a long drive for us with two young children. Thank you for letting us use your home for our holiday. The bungalow is clean & well equipped & in a perfect location for exploring the surrounding areas. Local shops are surprisingly well stocked & reasonably priced. Pubs are well worth a visit & locals are very friendly. Plenty of things to do & places to visit in the area. Would definitely stay again & would recommend.

Great bungalow, lots of space! Well equipped considering its a holiday rental. My 7yr old loved the pool table and dart board so worth bringing your own Cue and darts. Broadband is very slow but phone signal good. Property needs a little TLC but made a great base for our family of 3 generations. A lot of confusion over recycle/bin days and what to Read moredo. Village is easy access and most locals friendly. The Kings Arms was amazing food as was the chip shop and only 2min walk Hide

Very nice bungalow in a friendly peaceful location. Several pubs nearby, serving good food with friendly service, and very welcoming.Shame the local cafe was shut for the weekend, as after reading the reviews, was hoping to try it out. Cottage was lovely and warm, and had all the essentials you need, plus a few extras. Only slight negative for us wRead moreas the double bed mattress, was very hard. We really enjoyed our stay here despite a couple of hiccups. Would certainly consider staying again. Lovely village which we were able to walk into. Our grandsons really didnt want to leave.

We had a great week, this is one of the cleanest and best-equipped houses we have stayed in in Hartland (and I think we've been in 7 in the village now!). Bedrooms are on a corridor off the main living space which helps with separation for noise etc. It was our first holiday with our dog, and the tiled conservatory made life easier with wet paws etRead morec! Lovely week for the 4 of us. Cottage was really well located for the north Devon and Cornwall coast. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed.
