Single storey property located within a small, exclusive development in the Dorset countryside, with large gardens, including children’s play area and a wildflower meadow.

This charming property, at the heart of the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, sleeps four guests and one furry friend. Situated within an exclusive gated development, you’ll benefit from some fantastic shared spaces, including a children’s play area and pretty wildflower meadow to explore with the woofer.

The light and airy cottage features an open-plan living area, allowing plenty of space for you to all spread out and relax during your holiday. Warm tones ensure the space remains cosy, whilst flashes of green add a modern twist. After a hearty meal around the dining table, sink into the comfy leather sofas and enjoy a film together in the evening. On a warm night, leave the French doors ajar so the four-pawed one can amble in and out to the enclosed patio. Or perhaps you fancy a spot of al fresco dining? In which case, fire up the BBQ whilst the kids burn off some steam in the play area and the pup enjoys a potter around the estate (just remember to keep them on a lead).

Step back in time on the steam trains of the Swanage Railway, which you can hop on with the hound just 16.5 miles away in Norden. Chug through the countryside all the way to the coast, past William the Conqueror’s stunning Corfe Castle where you can jump off and have a look around the pretty model village and gardens. The tail-wagger will also enjoy a trip to Lulworth Castle and Park. Pack a picnic and head to the 17th-century enchanted castle, where Fido is welcome in the gardens and woodland.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Very comfortable & cosy cottage. Lovely big garden backing onto fields. We saw pheasants, kites, deer and strangely also llamas on the field. Visited Poole, Sherborne & tasted Dorset Apple cake. We intend to return next year.

Fantastic location and the cottage was lovely with the surrounding gardens for the children to run around and explore. Beautiful views and loved that there was the climbing frame and sunken trampolines for the children to enjoy.

This is a very comfortable single story cottage in the heart of the Dorset countryside. Although just off the main road the cottage is well set back from the road and not noisy.

The property is situated down a long drive off a very busy road - so whilst its a quiet retreat, a car is essential for all journeys. Its good value for money - the living area needs some updating (sofas, tables and chairs are old and need replacing) but bedrooms have comfortable beds and en suites are smart and modern. Kitchen equipment is ok, butRead more could do with some extras. Bring your own dishwasher tablets! Hide
