Close to the Georgian market town of Holt (3 miles), Kelling is within a mile of the sea and the magnificent Norfolk Coast Path. You’ll find a cafe and restaurant within walking distance, and a pub (1.5 miles) and a shop nearby (2 miles), while off-road allocated parking is available for one car (plus an additional visitor’s space if needed).
Step up to the property entrance into this contemporary country-style home where calm neutrals invite instant relaxation for your hound in the cosy living area with snuggly seating by a warming wood burner. When your brood are feeling peckish, the kitchen and dining area are well-equipped. As night falls, there’s a king-size bedroom, and a double bedroom upstairs, plus a family shower room (note there are some low ceiling areas upstairs), while Princess commands the canine-friendly ground floor, and the lovely enclosed garden outside which has a seating area.
Wildlife enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that they’re just a short drive from the nature reserves at Cley-next-the-Sea (3.5 miles), and Blakeney Point (5 miles), home to migrating birds and a seal colony where you can watch seals basking in the sun on the sandbanks and on the beach. Patter and potter around the traditional seaside towns of Sheringham (4.5 miles) and Cromer (8.5 miles) - both boast wide sandy beaches and museums, while Cromer has regular family shows at its traditional pier-end theatre. Don’t miss Wells-next-the-Sea (13 miles) for its traditional harbour, independent shops, and key canine-networking beach, bordered by a pine forest and colourful beach huts - the stuff of dog daydreams.
