Enjoy a romantic break away or an active weekend at this wonderful one-bedroom ground floor apartment, located on the west of the Isle of Wight.

Enjoy the company of man’s best friend when staying here in beautiful Freshwater, discovering the Isle of Wight’s glorious beaches and fantastic coastal path with your canine companion at your heel. Happily sleeping two guests and one pup, the property lends itself perfectly to a small family of three (two humans and one dog, of course) who are eager to unwind amongst the area’s fantastic microclimate. Ideally suited to those who wish to leave the car at home, both the coast and the island’s fantastic Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are accessible within 1 mile – an excellent choice for daily dog walks!

 

Boasting everything the three of you may need to enjoy some time together, this single-storey property is a perfect choice for dog-friendly Isle of Wight accommodation. Whether your pup prefers to sleep in the living room, kitchen or at the foot of your bed, be sure to bring along their favourite dog bed for some home comfort. The lounge/diner is an inviting space for all to relax throughout colder months, complete with a TV with Smart services and DVD player for entertainment. However, we're certain that warmer weather will be met by more time spent in the suntrap garden. Set to lawn and fully enclosed, you can safely exercise your dog here whilst sitting down to an evening tipple.

 

Head out on foot (or four paws) to discover the Isle of Wight’s dramatic seascapes and AONB coastline. Walk 1.5 miles to reach the beautiful white cliffs that hug the island’s south coast and provide a route for walkies that you won’t be quick to forget. Take in the view at the Needles Lighthouse (3 miles) and follow the coast along the unspoilt Compton Bay (4 miles), all accessible without jumping in the car.

It was advertised that booking with Holiday cottages that there would be a Discount for the ferry . What they didn't say that we had to wait for 2 Days after the booking not Knowing weather there was any space left on the ferry .we were not repaired to take that risk.

A nicely laid out ground floor flat with outside seating and a garden for doggie to run and off street parking. Wi-fi, tv and dvd player available. Fully fitted and well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Shopping facilities bery close by. And take advantage of discounted ferry crossing link when booking. We shall be returning again.

Spotlessly clean throughout, very comfortable, great parking , lovely light apartment with a totally enclosed garden. Lovely owners who told us just to ask them if we needed anything. Lots of local shops including a Co-op, Sainsburys local and a Tesco close by. A well placed apartment, close to local businesses and facilities. There are some good restaurants nearby and a supermarket across the road. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday stay and everything was clean and tidy.

Great place to stay. The flat was spotless and very well equipped. Having a fenced in garden for the dog was much appreciated as was the off street parking! And the location was perfect though dangerous for our waists with the Co Op being so close for late night chocolate supplies.

Great location, all you need for two people, good secure garden for our dog. Freshwater has everything you need. Great Indian takeaway, the meal for two did two nights, there was so much. The baguettes from across the road excellent value and freshly made.

Lovely cottage , in good location, pub and supermarket within walking distance, a little further to beach , cottage is clean and good amenities, would definitely go back , it is on the quieter side of the island but it is very accessible to all of the island , would recommend

Great location to base two people and a dog who want to see the island. Very clean and tidy , all on ground level. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog to be able roam around safely. Although near the high street it was very quiet at night. Handy convenience store nearby and a Tesco 5 minutes drive away. Easy to park car off road. Not customer ready. The cottage was functional. There was a heating issue that WE had to sort on arrival. We booked that cottage as per the photos online. No cushions on very uncomfortable sofa. Outside patio furniture was being used to protect a flattened metal something. Nowhere to hang washing. Shower height not adjustable. I am 5'2 & struggled.Read more Non smoking but persons from other flat did outside & the smell wafted through. I had to shut the door. Property was was white with no character. Hide

Fabulous accommodation for 1 or 2 people. Clean, comfortable with everything you will need for your stay. Huge walled and gated garden. Parking for 1 car. Set in the heart of Freshwater. Thoroughly recommend.

This cottage is in a great location in a lovely part of the island. Despite being in the high street it is really quiet and it is great to be able to walk to places nearby and leave the car behind. There is also a good bus service. The owners are lovely, helpful and friendly. The cottage is good value and very clean and well looked after. Lovely cottage, on the main high street had off street parking traffic was a minimum because of the one way system when in cottage could hardly hear a car. Only 4 miles from The Needles and beach. Coop local across the street , two pharmacies and Sainsbury's local all in walking distance. Owners were lovely live next to the cottage.
