This stunning semi-detached cottage hasn’t just got a massive garden, but roomy living spaces too. It comfortably sleeps four guests and two canine companions. Perfectly positioned in the Northumberland National Park and close to Scotland, you’ll never be short of adventures to sniff out.

You will find the home to be in remarkable condition with stunning decoration and furnishings throughout. The kitchen/diner has everything you need for your self-catering stay with a fantastic AGA oven, perfect for preparing homecooked meals. Relax in the spacious lounge, where your dogs can keep warm in front of the wood burner, while you watch a movie on the Smart TV. Head outside to the large garden that is fully enclosed, making it safe for Fido to explore. There is also a summerhouse out here, which has its own wood burner and seating. Situated in the Northumberland Dark Sky Park - Europe’s largest area of protected night sky - spend some time soaking in the hot tub while admiring the beautiful, twinkling sky above.

The Northumberland National Park is simply breathtaking, any way you turn, you’ll be able to admire spectacular landscapes in fresh, clean air and enjoy a sense of remoteness. There are a plethora of walks from the doorstep including the dog-friendly trail to the Hindhope Linn waterfall, accessed on foot and paw from the cottage. You’ll be 12 miles from Kielder Forest and the superb Kielder Observatory. Head to Kielder Water, a playground for cyclists, walkers and those who want to try out activities such as kayaking or sailing.

A beautiful cottage, very well equipped. A perfect location and beautiful views. It was lovely and warm on arrival. Very clean and modern. The aga in the kitchen was loved by us and our 2 dogs. Plenty of hooks to dry coats, hang keys. Doors were easy to lock and unlock. That has been an issue in the past in another property we stayed at. Lovely comfortable cottage, not far from the Scottish border. The Penine way is at the bottom of the hill. Beautiful countryside but because of the roads takes ages to get anywhere else.

We had a wonderful and incredibly relaxing stay here. There are lots of bird-feeders around, we enjoyed watching them over the goodies left for us in the welcome basket. Incredibly well-provisioned kitchen, we managed to cook a whole roast dinner and had everything we needed. Beautiful and serene location, we took the walk to the waterfall and loveRead mored it. This is the best cottage we have stayed in! The location is amazing and extremely quiet. With no fireworks nearby it was perfect for our dogs! With a secure large garden they had a great time. The area has loads of walks on the doorstep too. The woodburner was fantastic with lots of wood onsite there was no need to get any ourselves. Lovely cottage felt like home from home straight away. Welcome pack is a lovely touch really enjoyed the log burner hot tub once it's heated up it's easily kept warm with few burn cycles the next day. Lovely garden lots of space. Cottage had everything you would need. Really enjoyed our 3 nights at forest edge cottage.

We had a faultless stay at this property last week, it really was a home from home. The location was fantastic-walks out of the gate straight into the forest, and we have never seen so many different birds in the garden. We loved it but I think the dogs loved it more! Forest Edge was a lovely comfy cottage. The Aga in the kitchen kept the place toasty. We used the log burner and switched off the radiators which added to the atmosphere. We had a little emergency during our stay which was all of our own making. Although this situation had nothing to do with the cottage, Karen sorted out our logistics and the cottaRead morege owner was a "hands on" assistance. Great location for Kielder forest and Scottish borders. We found log burning hot tub difficult, but we may just be poor fire starters! Summer house fab when you stoke up the log burner, very cosy/hot!

Fabulous cottage, tucked away just within Kielder Forest. Extremely well equipped and very dog friendly, enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and wildlife, which included a wide range of birds, deer and a weasel! Had a lovely time there, and dogs seemed to enjoy even more than us.

We had a fabulous holiday at the cottage. The place itself is in a beautiful spot, far enough off the main road so that you dont hear any road noise, but close when you want to get out and about! The cottage is really nicely decorated and thought through - some very thoughtful touches and when we arrived there was bread, biscuits, milk, even some fRead morelowers and a bottle of wine! This is a lovely cottage in a really beautiful location. The garden is so peaceful and full of birds and there are plenty of walks for dogs. Inside is lovely and well equipped. Had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend here for a holiday.

The cottage is very comfortable and in a great peaceful location despite being close to the A68. It was good to be able to take the dogs on a good walk straight from the door. Wow a fabulous property, great layout and a beautiful garden. Location spot on for walks some available straight from the property. Central location which is great for exploring the area. The wood fired hot tub took a couple of attempts to get the temperature right but is definitely worth it. Would definitely return again.
