Stepping through a handy porch area you’ll find a light, airy lounge that features a cosy woodburner set in front of a shocking pink fire surround which adds a cheerful splash of colour to the room and accentuates the black cast iron stove. The separate dining area comfortably seats six and is equipped with highchairs, meaning one less thing to worry about if you’re planning to stay here with young children. Upstairs, the three bedrooms are warm and cheerful with brightly-coloured bedsheets adorning the snug beds. Outside is a large attractive rear lawn providing the perfect place for Fido to race around whilst you enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the peaceful summerhouse at the bottom of the garden.
The ‘fair city’ of Perth, Scotland’s newest city, is just 5 miles from this well-located property and home to a fantastic selection of places to visit; from tea rooms to fancy restaurants, trendy independent boutiques to weekend markets, this place is definitely worth a visit. Scone Palace, former home to the Stone of Destiny, has a large estate with beautiful gardens and woodlands and whilst dogs are not allowed in the castle itself, they are welcome to walk around the grounds.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
