Brimming with barking and biscuit munching spots, grab your four-legged friends and escape to this cosy bolthole. With a handful of rooms just perfect for curling up in, this home suits those who want to step outside and explore before returning for a night of rest and relaxation. 13 miles from vibrant Bristol, this abode also suits those seeking a creative buzz; wander the bustling streets before setting down for a waterside drink by the harbour.

The spacious kitchen/diner creates the hub of the house; full of classic charm, rustle up tasty treats as hungry noses sniff the air awaiting a titbit to nibble on. Dine in style at the table or head outside for an al fresco dinner – when the sun shines, a BBQ is the perfect family feast. While away the evenings together in the traditional-style living room where comfortable sofas invite you to put your feet up, or savour a moment of peace in the snug which is home to a TV/DVD player, PS4 and a warming wood burner to keep tails and toes toasty. A WC and utility room on the ground floor are great spots for towelling down soggy fur and wiping off muddy paws before they traipse throughout the house. Climb the stairs and rest tired heads in one of the five pleasant rooms which all have easy access to bathrooms.

Hop onto the Cotswold Way or the Frome Valley Walkway for a breath of fresh air and a stick chase; these trails are just metres from your door and make for the perfect morning leg-stretch. The historic city of Bath is just 12 miles away and a wealth of gorgeous National Trust properties lie within a 20-mile radius, with Dyrham Park and Horton Court under 5 miles away.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £50. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Lovely and spacious cottage with large rooms and comfortable bedrooms. Easily housed my party of 8 adults and 2 children. Great for walking as both the Cotswold Way and the Frome Valley Walk are literally on the doorstep.

Jayne was a super host. The house was cosy, inviting and very suitable for big groups. The hot tub and garden area are fabulous too. Its not far from shops if you fancy a bimble and there are lots of takeaways locally that deliver. We had an amazing time there.

All the family really loved the cottage and it offered everything we needed. For the time of year we were unlucky with the weather but spending some of our stay indoors gave us all plenty of options to keep us busy. The kitchen is big and there is an American style fridge freezer so entertaining on a large scale is easy to organise. I was an Aga viRead morergin and needed a quick lesson but now I need one in my life! We hope to return soon! Hide

The house was big and beautiful, all comforts available. The outdoor whirlpool was clean and well maintained, we used it regularly. We particularly loved cooking on the Aga which was fun and easy to do. We picked this house because of the fact that our dog could play safely in the garden, it was fenced all around. The area was great for taking Read moreour dachshund for a walk, both on and off lead. The pub nearby was fine and very dogfriendly. This house is worth a visit!! Hide

Had a great stay at Elmgrove cottage to celebrate Grandad's 75th birthday. We all had a lovely time, many thanks to Jayne and Adam. The hot tub was a great success, especially with the granddaughters.

We had a lovely stay at Elm Grove Cottage. Jayne was very helpful and welcoming and had made us a delicious cake. Had a really lovely stay here with a group of friends. The home is spacious but has a really cosy feel and has everything you need for a welcoming stay. The hot tub was great and we have discussed coming back in summer months to make better use of the fabulous outside space and bbq. The cottage is ideal for a family holiday. It is spacious and well appointed, with a good sized garden plus a family size hot tub. There is a pub within a few minutes walk and all manner of shops and amenities a short drive away. The cottage feels comfortable with adequate parking for three cars. An ideal base to commence your holiday.

A really lovely property in a beautiful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ideal for a large family group - plenty of space and also options for those times when you want a bit of quiet. The owners went above and beyond to help us in a minor emergency for which we were very grateful. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at Elm Grove Cottage! We got the family together to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. We found the cottage very well equipped, spacious, comfortable and ideal for 3 generations of the family aged between 3 months to 74 years! The location was great and easy to find with plenty of parking available. Jayne couldn't be more helRead morepful. She made us feel extremely welcome and went the extra mile to ensure that the children had plenty of garden toys to play with. We'll be back! Hide

Elm Grove Cottage was probably the best holiday property we've ever stayed in as a large family group. It had everything you would need for an enjoyable time away. The hot tub was everyone's favourite and the surroundings of the cottage gave us the opoortunity for varied and enjoyable walks. We hope to return.
