Picture a holiday in a Grade II-listed traditional stone cottage, where you, your favourite humans and your treasured pet can relax together after a long walk in the delightful Cotswolds. This charming holiday home is built in honey-coloured stone and provides a quaint setting for a holiday, winding down, enjoying meals together and sleeping soundly. The cottage sleeps up to four people plus one four-pawed companion.

The lounge features attractive ceiling beams and exposed brickwork that contribute to its quaint, homely feel. There are comfy sofas to sink into – here you can spend an evening or two catching up on your favourite Netflix series while your cherished pet snoozes peacefully at your feet. The house shares a courtyard and gardens with a neighbouring pub which welcomes dogs, as long as they’re kept on a lead. In this walled area, you can enjoy meals outside while Bella cheerfully begs for scraps.

The busy market town of Banbury is 3 miles away where you can pop into cafés and look for souvenirs to take to friends back home. The hills of the Cotswolds, which start just 8 miles away, are ideal for long or short walks which your fluffy companion will adore. Take Fido’s favourite ball along to keep him amused, or let him find a stick for the day. For an urban day out, the city of Oxford is 23 miles away. Here you can admire one of the world’s most famous universities and go punting with your pooch. If he needs to stretch his legs, take him for a stroll in Shotover Country Park or Port Meadow, a Site of Special Scientific Interest that borders the River Thames.

We had the best time, the cottage was stunning, great location to go day tripping in the surrounding areas, from Stratford-Upon-Avon, Oxford, Stow-On-The-Wold, Bourton-On-The-Water and many more places. When we arrived, we were treated by gifts of cheese, milk, biscuits, cake, sweets and Beer, so kind and helpful. The cottage was so clean and homelRead morey, we settled straight in Hide

A cosy cottage, convenient for many attractions. We found The Elephant & Castle pub next door very handy and did not experience any noise from it. There are also two other pubs within a 5 minute walk and we enjoyed an evening meal at both. The complimentary brewery tour at Hook Norton was a welcome addition.
