Superbly converted barn set within rural countryside, perfect for a romantic escape. Ideally situated for discovering the quintessential Cotswolds villages including Bourton On The Water and Stow On The Wold.

Set in a spectacularly beautiful area, this one-bedroomed cottage is situated just under 2 miles from the edge of the picturesque Cotswolds and 18 miles from the city of Bristol allowing you to enjoy a mix of both town and country whilst away. The property itself is an attractive barn conversion which has been thoughtfully styled with beamed ceilings and areas of exposed stone walls, and there’s a spacious lawned garden which your dogs are sure to enjoy exploring.

As soon as you set foot in this pretty cottage you will see that the owners have put plenty of effort into creating a cosy retreat at this scenic countryside location. Not only is there a relaxing lounge with a wood burner in one corner, but also an additional reading room tucked between the lounge and the restful king-size bedroom. The garden, to the front of the property offers uninterrupted views over the surrounding countryside, making it an ideal spot for you to sit out with drinks whilst your canine companions chase their tails on the lawn.

The Cotswolds are almost right on the doorstep of this cottage, offering you endless opportunities to explore this gorgeous region renowned for its pretty villages and picturesque countryside. 12 miles to the east is the National Arboretum at Westonbirt, the majority of which is open to dogs including the Silk Wood area where they can be allowed to explore off the lead. For riverside walks, the River Severn is located 8 miles to the west allowing you to pick up the footpaths of the Severn Way, choosing walks as long or as short as you like.

Lovely space and welcome drinks and cakes were a nice touch. Good selection of maps available to help choose some walking routes. Careful parking in the driveway, it can get muddy and my car got stuck.

Really nice little cottage, great location with fab views all round! The garden was great for our dogs but some may be able to get out of it. The cottage was nicely laid out, but is fully open plan which can be tricky with muddy dogs. Really nice quiet area with walks straight from the doorstep

Great location with wonderful views. Cottage was full of character and the log burner made it super cosy in the evenings. The wi fi is weak and needs upgrading if possible. The garden was great for our two Cockapoos although we did have to add some more wire netting to the gates to prevent the smaller one escaping. The two very heavy access gates were of particular concern as it was very windy and raining when we arrived and they couldn't be secured open - they require urgent maintenance.
