This stunning property is perfectly situated on the coastal road between Berrow and Brean, is within walking distance of the beach, and provides a great base for families looking to enjoy the best of Somerset.

Nestling just 50 metres from the beautiful – and dog-friendly – Berrow Beach, this bright and attractive cottage makes a wonderful holiday retreat for a large family or a group of friends. Set on the outskirts of the picturesque seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea (3.5 miles), this spacious and stylishly furnished getaway provides light, cosy and relaxing accommodation for eight human and two canine guests. The property has a number of extras to enjoy including a plunge pool, summer house and croquet set, and catering can be provided by the owners – please contact them directly for details.

On entering this stunning home, you will find the welcoming and spacious hallway which has a pebble-effect electric fire and space to sit back and unwind with a good book. The stylish lounge is perfect for relaxing in, with its coal-effect plasma fire, Smart TV and comfortable sofas. The beautifully arranged kitchen/diner makes a wonderfully sociable space – the kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining area is ideal whether you’re sharing a snack or a celebratory meal. There’s also space to watch the Smart TV and chat about the day. Heading up to the split-level first floor via the fabulous period staircase, you will find four delightful bedrooms: a master super king-size, a king-size, a twin and a cosy double. Stepping outside, the extensive lawn garden is perfect for dogs to run about in, and features a selection of garden games, a patio, BBQ, outdoor plunge pool and a summer house.

The property lies on the coastal road between the villages of Berrow and Brean (both within a mile) and is perfect for happy hounds and their owners. Both villages have gorgeous dog-friendly beaches. Burnham-on-Sea (3.5 miles) is a popular seaside town with plenty of dog-welcoming places to eat and drink, and there are miles of wonderful country and coastal walks for you to enjoy.

Lovely holiday home, like home from home, great for entertaining, plenty of equipment in the kitchen to cook and entertain a large family. Hot tub and games room helped entertain all age groups.

Had a wonderful stay in this super house. It has everything you need & more & is very comfortable, warm, & spotlessly clean. The games room is an added bonus, plenty of fun with kids & a plunge pool & hot tub. The beach is very close, some lovely walks too & plenty of places to visit. Would definitely recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely property. The beds are very comfy, the kitchen well equipped, and theres plenty to entertain from the Xbox, to the board games, tvs in each room, dvds and books. The garden was, for us, the star of the show. Excellent hosts, nice touch on arrival and even treat's left for the dog's. Beautiful house and garden, well appointed facilities inside and out. Can't praise this cottage enough. It's in a great location and has everything you may need whilst your there. The garden and garden room is amazing and has plenty to keep you occupied whilst you're there. Would highly recommend.

So glad we booked Dunes Edge! Location was fab for the dog friendly beach and easy drives to Burnham, Weston and Wells. Great evening out at The Duck at Burtle (food was amazing), and dog friendly too. The property itself kept us all entertained. Hot tub, pool, darts, table tennis, chess, TV, x-box. What a wonderful week we had, thank you. The house really feels like a home and the scones and tea and coffee facilities were a wonderful welcome after a long journey. We had so much fun in the games room and chilling in the hot tub. A great location for beach walks, sunsets, local amenities and had a lovely meal in the Dunston Inn. Our family of seven, (3 generations), had a brilliant week at Dunes Edge. We were on the beach every day, and used the hot tub every day. There was so much to do for children, even our 15 year old Grandson was occupied the entire week. The house was lovely, with lots of character, and we loved the super comfy beds.
