Offering plenty of stick chasing adventures, this stunningly renovated cottage is surrounded by woodland and boasts breathtaking views over the Crinan Canal and the gorgeous scenery of Argyll. Stay in these light and cosy rooms, indulging in the best of traditional and modern design. Grab the lead and head straight out of the house to start enjoying the hills and glens with your tail-wagging companion.

The bothy is a charming mix of a traditional stone cottage and contemporary interiors. The main room, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space accessed via three steps down, is bright and spacious yet cosy. It encompasses original features like exposed beams and a fireplace where pups can curl up and enjoy the warmth of the wood burner after their walk. French doors lead out to a stunning wrap-around balcony, where you can make the most of the panoramic scenery and magical sunsets. The kitchen and dining space are well-equipped for you to make fun meals for the group and chat about the day's adventures. And when you're ready to sleep, two delightful twin rooms reached via three steps offer restful privacy, making this house ideal for a couples' retreat.

The activities on your itinerary for this trip could be endless. From the cottage, head into the wild landscape — hill and forest walks, mountain biking, wildlife spotting and fishing are all on your doorstep. The towpath alongside the Crinan Canal is a scenic shortcut to the beach, where your dog can let off some steam. The sweet harbour village of Crinan is just 5 miles away, or simply stroll down a track by the cottage through the woods to reach a local restaurant (dogs welcome in the bar), where you can enjoy an evening meal out, a reward for all those hills.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Disappointing to arrive in a pandemic to a cottage that is grubby and poorly maintained. The setting is super but when basic equipment like the cooker does not work properly and the standard of implements is very poor it spoils your holiday. Having looked forward to spending time sat on the balcony we found a section of rotting wood.!! Whilst not sRead moretructural it did make us wonder about its safety. We would not recommend this property. Hide

Comfortable, peaceful isolation in the forest near the Crinan Canal. Loved the cottage which was far superior to the Bothy name. Lovely holiday in amazing heatwave. Can't beat Scotland when the weather shines.

The cottage is in some need of TLC. The photos were taken when the place was new. Certain things dont work or are missing altogether. I dont want to run the place down to much but it was not as expected and was very disappointed. It is in a lovely spot but very isolated so be prepared.

The location of the cottage is absolutely stunning. It was clean and comfortable enough, but perhaps a little sad - could do with some TLC - with a little bit of updating it could be fabulous. Some care and attention needed.
