Just on the edge of Exmoor National Park, this is the perfect place for walkers, families and friends with up to two happy hounds. Explore the local villages, picturesque walks on the doorstep, or venture further afield to the beaches of the North Devon coastline. Owned by dog lovers who live next door, you know you can relax in style in this property, with your canine companions most welcome in the downstairs area.

The kitchen/diner is all set for a hearty family meal, while the enclosed rear courtyard, where you can enjoy a BBQ, is ideal to keep your pets safe and secure. Floors downstairs are all paw-friendly, including the bathroom and main en-suite bedroom, so no worries after a long walk with your canine chums.

This property is less than half a mile from the historic market town of Dulverton with its tea rooms, galleries, independent shops, dog-friendly pubs and restaurants, and the oldest medieval bridge on Exmoor. Home to the Exmoor National Park Centre, it is one of Somerset’s most beautiful areas, also within a designated Dark Sky Reserve. Take time to enjoy the fantastic dog walks along the riverbank, and through Burridge Woods (1 mile). Exmoor is known for its wild ponies, so perhaps visit the Exmoor Pony Centre (3 miles) where dogs on leads are welcome. Further afield, other places of interest in the area are the pretty village of Porlock (17 miles), the harbour town of Watchet (17 miles), and the picturesque medieval village of Dunster (15 miles), with its fascinating castle.

Fabulous setting to visit Exmoor . Well equipped accommodation. A dishwasher would be useful bonus. So convenient for Dulverton with lovely pubs and restaurants with a chemist and supermarket. 5 minute walk away.

A really comfortable place to stay, very well equipped and great for our Lab with a secure back courtyard and a not secure grassed orchard area at the front. A footpath around the corner made for easy walks not on a busy road. Owners helpful. Spacious and tasteful home from home plus!. Delightful place to stay, with a private little garden, and a patio off the kitchen for eating your Breakfast, weather permitting! Comfortable Beds. The Dressing Room adjoining the Downstairs bedroom, would be difficult to access if you were a tad overweight and difficult to get into bed that side too, ceRead morertainly not enough room for a bedside table. Really enjoyed stay. Although attached to owners property felt completely private. Warm and comfortable and really well presented. Close to the village which had everything we needed. All in all great value.

A beautifully presented property, with every care taken to make it welcoming. Spotlessly clean with such good quality linen my friend will probably buy some! A real home from home for us and for the dogs.

Owners live next door in adjoining property. May not bother some people but feel it's worthy of a mention. However, we were not disturbed by owners at all. Otherwise, lovely property, very comfortable and great location for village of Dulverton.

A lovely house, which proved cool in the heatwave : a huge relief. We found the location an ideal centre and the local shops so varied that we could obtain everything we needed.
