Set out in a reverse-level style, the property is brimming with rustic details and period features such as exposed stone walls, concrete floors and original beamed ceilings. The two gorgeous bedrooms are dressed to perfection with plenty of space for Fido’s basket, both equipped with a private en-suite for the ultimate treat. Upstairs, the open-plan living space is a contemporary dream where you can socialise with your pack in utter comfort. Set Rex’s nose sniffing as you prepare meals in the extremely chic kitchen, retiring to bask in the warmth of the wood burner once you are full-bellied from delicious food and good wine. Outside, the patio garden has a BBQ for al fresco suppers, and you are welcome to wander throughout the farmland with your well-behaved canine.

 

Lace-up your boots and let Rover take the lead, discovering the spectacular landscape of the Northumberland National Park 8.5 miles away, and wandering the picturesque trails of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty 11.5 miles away. Keen historians can soak up some local heritage with a visit to Housesteads Roman Fort 14.5 miles away, learning about the rich history of the area and admiring the remains of Hadrian’s Wall.

Stayed at Duck House for a truly idyllic stay on Linnels Farm. The property itself is furnished to an incredibly high standard & level of comfort with all possibly needed amenities, and highly thoughtful welcome additions on arrival. Fantastic barn conversion on a small farm with animals in the fields nearby and amazing views of the countryside all around. Secluded rural get away location with several supermarkets and Hexham town 10 minutes away and Hadrians Wall nearby. Beautifully fitted out accommodation with latest specification equipment (not always intuitive to operate!) Read more& very comfortable. Lovely, friendly and very helpful owners on site nearby. A fantastic stay from start to finish. Great, welcoming hosts, and a superbly appointed cottage with significant grounds which were ideal for our dog, who loved paddling in the river! Cottage very conveniently located for a number of nearby towns, with Hexham only 5 minutes away for all major supermarkets. Location was ideal to get to all compass points of Northumberland. Barn has been converted to a very high spec and the owners have struck the balance between being friendly and there but not in your face. Excellent stay.

This is a well appointed, spacious and comfortable holiday home. Located out in the countryside yet about five minutes from Hexham with all its facilities. Owners very helpful and friendly - the whole atmosphere is relaxing. Good access to many attractions both in Northumberland and Co Durham. Can thoroughly recommend.
