With wonderful countryside views by day and star-filled skies by night to enjoy, this captivating detached property is perfect for nature-loving couples and their four-legged friend. It’s situated at the end of a long private lane on a 50-acre farm that you’re welcome to explore. Meet the resident alpacas and enjoy walks directly from the property or drive 9 miles to Exmoor National Park for outdoor adventures in this awe-inspiring landscape.
The cottage is cosy and rustic, with exposed beams and apex ceilings adding to its charm. After morning walkies, make a hot drink in the coffee machine and reward Fido with a treat. In the cooler months, snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of the fire while watching your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Upstairs, the galleried double bedroom is set under the eaves with a low sloping ceiling. Sleep tight with your skin glowing from a day exploring the countryside. The large enclosed private garden is great for both you and your canine to relax in. Toast marshmallows on the fire pit while watching the sunset and enjoy a soak in the wood-fired hot tub under the stars.
Exmoor offers the ultimate in beautiful open spaces for you and your dog to explore. Go mutts for the wild terrain of Tarr Steps (12 miles), with its ancient clapper bridge, and in autumn say ‘hello’ to the Exmoor ponies and red deer, being careful to keep your dog under control. If your tearaway hound fancies a run out at the seaside, there is a string of golden beaches on Devon’s north coast, including Saunton (25 miles) and Woolacombe (30 miles) which both have unrestricted zones for dogs all year round.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
