This cosy cottage boasting sea views is just a short stroll to a glorious sandy beach and is ideal for a small family or couples looking to get away from it all
This fabulous seaside property, located on the east coast of Norfolk, sleeps four guests and two furry friends. The cottage is within 2 miles of a woof-friendly beach, where your canine companions can charge around on the sand and dabble their paws in the water. Enjoy wild and windy walks along the stunning 83-mile Norfolk Coast Path or spend a relaxing afternoon meandering around the grounds at Sheringham Park (18 miles).
A nautical theme runs throughout this warm and inviting bungalow, acting as a constant reminder of the property’s excellent coastal location. The lounge/diner, with its pretty fabrics and cosy flame-effect electric fire, is the perfect place to curl up after a long walk with your favourite four-legged pals. The conservatory is the ideal spot for the hounds to set up camp, as there’s direct access to the enclosed garden. This is also a lovely sunny area to sit with a coffee or glass of wine, enjoying the distant views of the sea. On a sunny day, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco on the beautiful raised decked area.
The Norfolk Coast Path takes you past some of Norfolk’s finest woof-welcoming beaches, including Winterton-on-Sea (17 miles). This spectacular sandy beach is backed by dunes, and even in the height of summer, there’s ample room for you and the pups to find space to enjoy a game of fetch. If the hounds have good sea legs, head along the coast to Morston Quay (27 miles), where you can catch a boat over to Blakeney Point to visit the resident seal colonies – a real sight to behold. Sheringham Park is glorious, especially on a sunny afternoon. You and the pups can explore the exquisite woodland gardens and admire the stunning coastal views. Four-legged visitors are also welcome in the cafe.
