Take your canine companion on a trip down the river as you hire a boat and row yourself along the scenic waters. Further afield, the historic town of Harrogate (3.5 miles) is within easy reach, as is the Viking city of York (17 miles), easily reached on the train which your dog can ride too.

Really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a great central location. Knaresborough is a lovely Yorkshire market town which has a lot going for it considering its size. Particularly enjoyed the castle area and the walks along the Nidd Gorge. Highly recommended.
