This impressive detached property stands proudly on the grounds of the owner’s home. Designed in true contemporary-style, all rooms are based on the first floor so you can enjoy panoramic views of the countryside. The open-plan living space is ideal for relaxing evenings dipping into a box of chocolates by the TV. Step outside for a delicious BBQ and a refreshing spritzer on the lawn whilst Rover safely explores the enclosed garden. The property, equipment and comfort were of high quality and the thoughtfulness to provide things like tea, coffee, milk, cake etc, etc just made us feel very welcome. We look forward to returning next summer

A great holiday cottage. Completely dog friendly, even a throw provided for the dog to cuddle up on the sofa. Superb views. Very friendly and helpful owner. We couldnt fault the whole experience.

I had the perfect stay at Dorest View. The location was stunning and an easy drive to nearby attractions. Property was spotlessly clean with everything you could need including plenty of towels. The accommodation is situated in a very quiet location within the owners property, but you are completely independent. The owner is extremely helpful. There is a good, safe outside space for the dog. Inside is extremely clean and comfortable, can't fault it. There are even throws for the furniture if your dog likes to cuddle up on the sofa!!! Brilliant place to stay with the most fantastic views of Dorset. Clean, warm and comfortable with the biggest bed I've ever seen. Sarah and Sam are lovely friendly hosts very friendly. They have extensive land which my dog Millie absolutely loved. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back one day soon.

An excellent, comfortable place to stay. Ideally situated for country walking but within easy access of town amenities and the nearby Trailway, which occupies the old Somerset & Dorset Railway provides a historic interest. Buses between Blandford and Poole stop at the end of the lane and there is a good pub within walking distance in the village (tRead morehough a torch is needed after dark as there is no street lighting and some places with no pavement).
