Property code: 77635

Detached retreat for two with pretty garden nestled in beautiful countryside, near Conwy and Glan Conwy, close to North Wales coast. Perfect to relax and enjoy the culture, attractions and activities.

Enjoy a romantic escape in the picturesque Conwy Valley, watched over by the mighty mountains of Snowdonia, in this homely and traditional cottage - not forgetting your beloved pup of course! Set on the owner’s quiet farm with rolling countryside in all directions, there are plenty of opportunities for walkies, not to mention historical attractions like the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Conwy Castle, just 6 miles from your door.

After a long day exploring all that North Wales has to offer, come home and get cosy. Sink into the sofa in the lounge and pop the TV on while your four-pawed pal dozes at your feet, all by the glow of the pebble-effect electric fire. This rustic lodge atmosphere is enhanced by the exposed beams and wooden flooring that feature throughout the property. Unleash your inner chef in the well-equipped and convenient kitchen, and then dine in the spacious conservatory while you enjoy glorious valley views. On a warmer evening, you could even make use of the BBQ out on the patio, while Rover plays fetch in the garden. After a few rounds of table football in the games room - through which the downstairs bathroom can be accessed - head upstairs and unwind in the comfortable double bedroom, with a single room with an en-suite WC just across the landing.

The fresh country air and natural green landscape of the Conwy Valley will ensure a new leash of life for you and your canine companion whatever you choose to do. Aside from the pretty cobbled streets of Conwy, if sandy paws and sea-soaked fur are more your thing, Traeth Pensarn Beach is barely 8.5 miles away (although seasonal restrictions do apply). The cable car up to The Great Orme, Llandudno’s mini-mountain, is a local must, and warmly welcomes four legs as well as two. Or venture into the famous Snowdonia National Park through the little gateway town of Betws-y-Coed (14.5 miles).

  • 2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 single
  • 1 ground floor shower room with WC and 1 ensuite WC
  • Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher

A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. We had the added bonus of cute lambs for our Easter break. The hosts popped over to check we were OK, but then left us to our holiday. Shops about 10 minutes away in the car and a good gastropub in the nearby village. Would use again next time I'm in the area.

This property is very clean and spacious. The views from the conservatory over the rolling countryside were breathtaking. Gwyn the owner was on hand if we needed help but never intrusive. There is a forest 5 minutes away by car which has some lovely walks for the dog and all the local beaches are dog friendly . A very enjoyable week.

Super comfy yet spacious cottage. Very friendly and helpful owners. Set in the tranquil countryside and very relaxing. Just would like it a little nearer home as the journey was very long travelling from Kent.

Lovely cottage, great location. Really enjoyed our stay and it was an added bonus to be able to buy fresh eggs from a house a couple of minutes walk away. The local pub did great homemade food. If you are walking, make sure you have a map as a number of local footpaths are unsigned and blocked with fallen trees/overgrown. Great scenery though,

The cottage is large and well equipped. The conservatory is lovely for meals but we also used the outside patio table for morning coffee and a relaxing drink before our evening meal. The cottage is quite isolated, which suited us, and in a good location to visit local towns as well as Anglesey and Bodnant Gardens.
