A simply gorgeous detached property situated overlooking Cornwall’s Atlantic coast, with each room offering breath taking views of either the sea or rolling fields. Set on the owner’s 140-acre farm, you will absolutely love the sense of space and tranquillity, with your own enclosed garden offering plenty of room for you, your fellow guests and up to three dogs.
On arrival at this attractive farmland cottage, you will easily be able to make yourselves at home in the cosy lounge, where the beamed ceiling and feature fireplace create that wonderfully authentic cottage feel. Comfortable sofas allow you to enjoy a night in with a film, whilst your puppy pals stretch out for a snooze at your feet. The kitchen/diner is a spacious room from which patio doors open out onto the enclosed garden, allowing your dogs to be outside whilst you keep an eye on them. The bedrooms have been finished in a timeless understated style with pine furnishings, but please note that the upstairs bedrooms have sloping ceilings and some areas of reduced head-height.
If you are looking for a laid-back holiday it would be easy to spend your whole holiday right on the farm, spending your days playing and relaxing in the garden, taking in the fresh air and sea views. However, if you are willing to travel just a little further afield, you will be rewarded with some of the country’s most spectacular beaches, such as that in the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac, which you may well recognise as the setting for the TV series Doc Martin. A little further around the coast, the fashionable village of Rock also has a large year-round dog-friendly beach.
