Enclosed gardens to both the front and rear of the cottage ensure that there is plenty of space to relax and for your dog and children to run around to their heart’s content. Inside, meanwhile, the cottage has an attractive homely feel with a comfortable lounge and a spacious country-style kitchen/diner. The master bedroom is an especially nice space with a cosy armchair which is a lovely spot for relaxing with a book in the evenings or early mornings.
Take a stroll from this farmland cottage and into the village of Chumleigh less than a mile away, where you will find a choice of shops, a golf course, two dog-friendly pubs, and a riding stable. Driving 25 miles north of the property will bring you to the beaches of the North Devon coast, several of which are open to dogs all-year-round, including those at Northam Burrows and the huge expanse of sand at Saunton Sands where your four-legged friend can run around freely once you are past the marked zone nearest the car park, where they must be kept on a lead.
