This picturesque converted farm building offers spacious accommodation full of original features and character. Within walking distance of the café and pub in Monyash and is just five miles from Buxton.
Bring your four-legged friends to this gorgeous barn conversion in the heart of the Peak District National Park, where you can all roam for miles across unspoiled landscapes – ideal for fans of the country life. Situated just 5 miles from the spa town of Buxton, this two-bedroom cottage, sleeping four, is positioned on a working farm. It forms part of a complex of five cottages which share a picturesque garden, ideal for morning cuppas (and a water bowl). Two dogs are welcome to stay, and there’s plenty of space for them to stretch out in the property after a day on the Derbyshire hills.
Spacious and tastefully furnished, the property has an open-plan living area with high ceilings, exposed beams and wooden floors in the living areas, so you won’t need to worry about muddy paws on carpets. The accommodation comprises a large living room, plenty of comfy chairs and a rug that your favourite pets might like to stretch out on. Upstairs is a lovely spacious double and a twin. And if you prefer to stay at home rather than taking a day trip, the communal gardens are a great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.
The cottage benefits from close proximity to walking and cycling trails and the pretty village of Monyash, where you’ll find a shop, café and dog-friendly pub, where you’ll always find a water bowl or two in the beer garden. The village, just a mile from the property, also gives direct access on to the Limestone Way long distance walking route that passes through the village. The popular town of Bakewell is 6 miles away, where you can indulge in the town’s famous pudding – a unique take on a jam tart. Historic Chatsworth House lies 10 miles east - another place to stretch your legs with your four-legged pal across the extensive parkland.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
