Situated on the banks of the River Yare, in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk Broads this stylish and contemporary home enjoys its own private mooring and big sky views.

Stroll through Norfolk’s famous Broads from this riverside holiday home, which welcomes two of your best furry friends, as well as four guests. Wander next to the famous waterways, through woodland and across fields together from your base at tranquil Reedham. Head to the coast, approximately 12 miles away, for afternoons on sandy beaches. Return home to your two-bedroom property to play with your happy hounds in the enclosed garden.

Step into the front porch where you can wipe muddy paws and dry damp fur before wandering through into the light-filled lounge. Switch on the wood burner-effect electric fire and let your chums enjoy the space to stretch out while you settle down to a film on TV. Put damp towels into the washing machine in the kitchen and prepare food for everyone in here. Feed your pampered pets on the floor while you dine at the breakfast bar. There’s a WC at ground-floor level and a family bathroom upstairs, where both your bedrooms are also situated. Wake up in one of these to glorious views out across the river and marshes. Take in the sweeping vistas and watch the boats go by from the front of the property too, where there is a seating area on a patio. Alternatively, take the pups into the enclosed back garden to frolic while you light the BBQ.

There are more than 190 miles of footpaths to follow in the Broads, as well as circular walks. Several long-distance routes also pass through the area. Pick up the 37.5-mile Wherryman’s Way, for example, in Reedham, and walk about 3 miles to Berney Arms beside the river. Drive 14 miles to the beach at Caister, where your furry friends can run free all year round, and you can follow the Norfolk Coast Path in either direction.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Our 3rd visit in a year and simply put, now our happy place. The location could not be more idyllic and the house suits us perfectly. Our lovely hosts could not do more to help us. Our return is already booked.

Our second visit to Cygnets and it was just as brilliant. The location is absolutely perfect for us and our hosts could not be more helpful. A much appreciated welcome supply of milk, bread and a few treats was a lovely touch too. If you are looking for somewhere to recharge your batteries in peace and quiet, Reedham is perfect.

Lovely comfortable cottage which was lovely and warm in the middle of a cold snap in winter. It was great for the dog and the location was lovely.

Lovely cottage in a quiet and beautiful setting overlooking the water. Outside photo does not do justice as the interior is lovely and roomy. Lots of thought given to guests comfort and extras such as wine and cake etc. Highly recommended.
