This wonderful detached unique period gate lodge, offers cosy county living with 21st comfort. Nestled within 50 acres of a splendid country private estate, within easy reach of all local amenities.

A gorgeous cottage surrounded by lush countryside and forested hills, this is the place to go to let spirits run wild, and feet and paws roam. A spacious retreat for two as well as your canine companion, enjoy the comforts of this welcoming cottage and revel in the untamed natural beauty that overwhelms the area. In the grounds of a manor house, you will have privacy and walks on tap, not to mention access to nearby towns for all your daily essentials.

Boasting a truly striking façade, this stately cottage provides the perfect base for a solo break or romantic getaway. Step inside and enjoy the generously sized rooms affording ample space to settle in. With bright, neutral tones and homely touches, you will feel immediately at ease. Start your day with a hearty breakfast prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. Whether you are a tea-and-toast or full-English kind of person, there is everything you could need to hit the foodie spot. For meals throughout the day, the lounge’s dining table and chairs lend a sense of ceremony whilst afterwards, the comfortable sofa awaits. In winter, light the wood burner for that bit of added ambience whilst your pup stretches out at your feet. At the end of the day, two-legged guests can enjoy the pretty king-size bedroom. Outside, there is a garden for you to use. However, we suspect your four-legged friend will be more interested in the 50 acres of private estate to explore!

If you are a keen walker or nature enthusiast, you have come to the right place. One of the best walks in the area is up to Norman’s Law (less than 5 miles away) which rewards walkers with stunning views. 6 miles away is Cupar town, whilst 15.5 miles away is the historic St Andrews.

Gorgeous little lodge, spotless and comfortable with everything supplied of a high standard. Very close to a busy road but to be honest this didnt bother us and it was quiet at night. Cupar is great for shopping and the station at Ladybsnk is handy for getting to Dundee, which is definitely worth a visit. The V&A is superb. The grounds around the cRead moreottage are beautiful for a walk and the deer centre is also worth a visit. I would highly recommend this cottage. Hide

A very well equipped house and very comfortable, the location was very good for us and Cupar is a town with all the facilities you may need as far as shopping goes. there is a lot of road noise in the lodge so if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs.

The Lodge was an old gatehouse that had been extended years ago. It was beautifully finished with all mod cons, cute and cosy. It was spotlessly clean, well equipt with a good welcome hamper. It was very close to the busy road but there was excellent walking from the door, squirrels in the garden and centrally situated for the Fife area.

This is a very well-kept and comfortable cottage, in a great location for touring Fife. There is a pleasant walk around the estate and supplies nearby in Cupar for all your needs.
