The beautiful New Forest National Park has 140 miles of tracks and footpaths through glorious woodland and over heathland, so get out and explore nature with your four-pawed pal.

This private hideaway amongst the trees offers peace and tranquillity in bucket loads; it will be impossible to leave feeling anything but relaxed. Reached via a flight of steps, the property is full of luxurious touches to make your stay extra special and the contemporary interior design cleverly incorporates a woodland theme, bringing the outdoors indoors. Snuggle up in style in the fabulous lounge area, with its vaulted ceiling and cosy wood burner – the perfect siesta spot for the hound. Alternatively, enjoy dinner alfresco on the enclosed decked area that envelops the property, whilst listening to the birds singing in the trees. The spacious storage on the ground floor is perfect for bikes and dog-walking gear.

Take a gentle 4.5-mile stroll along the riverbank from Beaulieu to the 18th-century shipbuilding village of Buckler’s Hard. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time in this unspoilt corner of the New Forest, which is full of history and charm. Refuel in the dog-friendly pub or dine outside at one of the picnic spots along the route. The Isle of Wight is a doable daytrip from this property. Hop on the ferry at Lymington, 7.5 miles away, and spend the day on the island riding the steam railway, perusing the botanic gardens, cooing over the donkeys at the sanctuary and investigating the magical Shanklin Chine gorge.

Absolutely lovely place to stay! Spotlessly clean and had everything we could have wanted. Appreciated the courtesy call before arrival. Only stayed for a long weekend but would definitely book again and stay for a week.

We highly recommend the Crows Nest cabin. Prior to our visit we received a phone call asking our preference of bread/milk for our welcome hamper which was a lovely touch. This place is a fantastic getaway in the new forest. We stayed for 3 nights with our dog. Its modern, very clean and stocked with everything you would need. Great for walking to BRead moreeaulieu and Bucklers Hard. All in all a stunning peaceful location. We will definitely stay again. The Beaulieu estate team were 1st class. Hide

Lovely holiday, relaxing in a beautiful area and having a super base to walk and explore from. The dog was VERY happy indeed. The weather was pretty terrible but it didn't stop us at all and coming back and lighting the log burner was wonderfully cosy.

Great location, close to the village and Bucklers Hard. Lots of home comforts along with a welcome hamper. Lots of activities to do and it is very dog friendly. The track outside of the cottage is a little uneven so can be a little unsteady underfoot. We had a lovely stay

Great secluded and peaceful location with plenty of walking and nice places to visit nearby. Limited useable storage so better bringing collapsible holdalls rather than suitcases.

very comfortable, well equipped property. Disappointed that there was no view of the river and no direct access to the river. Over properties on the river bank blocked any view. However, the property is surrounded by trees which are full of birds so very pleasant.

This is a delightful cabin to stay in - we loved it. The decoration is very nice, there is pretty much everything you need available in the cabin. The view over the trees is lovely and it is so restful to sit on the balcony after a day out and enjoy the sun. The walk to Beaulieu (plenty of cafes and an art shop) and Bucklers Hard (pub/hotel and musRead moreeum) are easy and worth doing. Beautiful place. The moment I opened the door I could see it was clean. Cleanliness is massive to me. We struggled to find a local shop on the way so was relieved when we saw the welcome pack. Wonderful, the cabin was equipped with the basic bits, cleaning supplies, salt and pepper, foil ect so was easier than others we have used, location was great too and we ventured out as close to other areas easily, we would certainly recommend and we hope to return too

This was a lovely cosy cabin in a great location. Felt very private. We had a lovely time exploring during the day and sitting in front of the crackling fire at night. We would love to come back during the summer to make more use of the balcony and forest view.

A beautiful and secluded cabin, well equipped and thoughtfully laid out. Breakfasts on the decking were idyllic and we fully appreciated the hamper! It was the perfect base for exploring the New Forest, we only wish we could have stayed longer!

A great cabin set in an area of private woodland adjacent to the Beaulieu River (no river views) amongst similar properties. Surrounded by trees makes the location very peaceful and secluded. The log burner was excellent as was the wildlife, pheasants visited us every day and eating outside amid the trees was nice. A lovely place to stay. Well equipped and very comfortable (important for us as we had a lot of really wet weather so stayed indoors quite a bit). The deck is lovely when the weather is dry, but it would be good to have a cover for the furniture as it took ages for the wooden furniture to dry out. Thank you we had a wonderful time and will definitely be booking another week away here. It was so quiet and peaceful surrounded by the trees. With the path just outside the cabin, all walks were accessible, enjoyed going to Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu and Exbury Gardens.

We had such a lovely week at Crow's Nest Cabin. It was so relaxing, peaceful, just perfect. The cabin was beautiful. It had everything we needed, the bed was SO comfortable & the view from the bedroom looked like a painting!There is a lovely walk to both Bucklers Hard & Beaulieu which was so perfect for walking the dog as there is alot of shaded arRead moreeas. Basil (the dog) loved it too, but he tried so hard to get the bone out of the water bowl (provided) with no luck haha. I would recommend this. Hide

Stunning location and beautiful condition. Half hour walk to Beaulieu or Bucklers Hard. You need a car really, but 100% recommended to stay here. Would certainly book again.

Tasteful, simply furnished throughout without all the unnecessary stuff that cannot ever be properly clean. It was a delight o enter for the first time, to live in was stunningly easy and comfortable and to leave it required little effort in tidying and cleaning.
