Lovely cottage in a fantastic location - off the beaten track but the instructions were clear and we made it relatively easily despite the dark, the gales and driving rain! There were lovely walks from the doorstep, but also wonderful destinations such as Thor's Cave and Buxton within easy reach. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Lovely cottage - very peaceful and lots of nice walks from the doorstep. The access road took a bit of getting used to, but was very quiet so not too much trouble. Would recommend.

Lovely cottage in a remote but beautiful setting. It was warm, clean and being Christmas we found the decorations a really nice touch, and helped maintain the seasonal mood!

A very comfortable cottage in a beautiful, very rural, location. Every window gives a peaceful view across the valley. The rooms were well furnished and bigger than anticipated from the photos and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. It was a very enjoyable break with the family.

A clean comfy and spacious cottage, with wonderful views and a lovely location with good walking. It was nice to get the welcome pack - milk, wine, teabags - and the house smelled fresh. Beds and showers adequate. High chair good. Third bedroom not well ventilated. Curtains and blinds inadequsate - too light in all bedrooms. Insufficient worktop anRead mored storage space in kitchen considering the house is supposed to sleep six. The 'creakiest' house we've stayed in. Hide

A really peaceful location with a great outlook and surrounded by lovely scenery - well worth the narrow road & gates in the last mile of the journey in and out. The property might not be a high end finish but it is in keeping with its character. It is clean, very spacious and well equipped. Amazingly good wifi for its remote location!
