Property code: CROSS

This spacious holiday cottage stands proudly within 2 acres of rolling Cornish countryside, close to the surfing town of Bude. Here you can enjoy peace, quiet and a more leisurely pace of life, with secluded beaches and calming coastal walks nearby. The perfect size for a multi-generational holiday, why not invite the grandparents along too and enjoy a holiday with the entire family, even the four-legged members.

Clean white lines and wood cladding greet you as you approach this stunning property, giving you a taste of what awaits inside. The sleek kitchen/diner features high-gloss jet black units, leather chairs and chrome light fittings that wouldn’t look out of place in a magazine. The two separate lounges are well-proportioned and furnished in neutral shades of grey and cream. They provide ample room for everyone to be able to stretch out and enjoy their own space. The sunroom is a delightful place to sit and watch the kids and canines racing about in the enclosed garden beyond, and the five bedrooms upstairs are comfortable and restful with a free-standing bath adding a finishing touch of luxury.

There are six beaches in the Bude area, three of which welcome dogs all year round, so if you’ve harboured dreams of taking your pup paddle boarding, this could be the holiday to make it happen! Bude town has a fantastic selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes along with traditional bakeries and butchers’ shops. For dog-friendly days out, venture 10 miles out to Hartland Abbey where you’ll find beautiful architecture, family trails and walks out to the sea, perhaps enjoying a tasty cake and cup of tea in a cafe before you leave.

Gorgeous house with excellent space for big families. The kitchen / dining area was our main hang out, rooms were a good size and 4 toilets to use! Beds were comfortable! Highly recommend.

The holiday cottage (hardly a cottage) proved an excellent choice for a family holiday for 8 adults and 4 children. Plenty of room for us not to feel on top of one another and for the children to play. The spacious garden was especially exciting for them. We can't fault the house whatsoever, it is beautifully presented, equipped and comfortable. Every effort has been made to ensure guests requirements are catered for. I'm so glad that I found and booked the house, especially as it was for such a special celebration. If there was anything that could improve the house, it would be the addition of a hoRead moret tub, perhaps. Other than that, it is perfect and we would definitely stay here again. Hide
