This is 1 of 3 beautiful and traditional lodges in the scenic village of Cannich with stunning far-reaching Highland country views, close to Loch Ness.

"This home in the heart of Highlands is the perfect rustic retreat for you and your family or a group of active buddies. Set in a gorgeous enclosed garden amid the rugged landscape around Loch Ness, it will inspire even the grumpiest of adventurers.

The lodge is a delightful hideaway in rural Scotland. Arrive to find a lovely enclosed garden where you can sit and watch your pups let off steam in view of the hills and the River Cannich. Enter to find your open-plan living space, with a well-equipped kitchen including a washing machine, a sweet dining space perfectly set for four, and a sociable living space with a TV where you can relax after a day’s wandering. Head through to the bedrooms on the same level. A king-size room and a bunk bedroom are both decorated in a calming, country style and a handy shower room sits next door so you can freshen up and head out into the wilderness again.

The landscape around the lodge is a dog’s dream — ways to roam, trails to hike, and, of course, the area around Loch Ness to explore. Start at the village of Cannich where the lodge is situated. With a great local inn and two rivers winding their way around the charming Scottish houses, in the foothills of the Highlands, you and your pups will find walks to inspire you. When you’re ready for the big adventure, head 15 miles east to the shores of the famous Loch Ness, where the Loch Ness monster is said to slink about the waters.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Cosy lodge, very dog friendly which is great as we have 3 dogs. Pub and shop on site but very quiet, small village. Great area for walking but need to drive to access visitor attractions and further amenities. Beautiful scenery for miles!

Beautiful location. Pub onsite Shop next door (convenience store/post office). Ideal if youre bringing your dog on holiday. If you dont like dogs, probably not an ideal choice as owners have multiple dogs themselves & they do like to come & say hello

Great value for money and great location. Lodge had every thing we needed for our stay and was dog friendly. Located next to pub which was handy but far away enough not to be disturbed. Glen Affric and Glen Cannich on the door step which was useful for walking.
