This characterful cottage enjoys a peaceful, rural location just a few miles from the dramatic North Cornwall coast. It’s perfect for groups of friends and families holidaying with their four-legged best friends. With three bedrooms, this homely property can accommodate up to six guests, along with one dog. Keen walkers and stick chasers will be sure to have a ball with the many places to visit, from rock pool beaches to scenic trails.

Leave the bustle of modern life behind as you step into the cottage which has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere throughout. At the heart of the kitchen/diner is a warming wood burner which will prove popular with tired canines sleeping off the day’s adventures, while you gather around the dining table for a delicious meal. The traditional lounge features exposed beams and wooden floors, with views out across the square. Snuggly sofas invite you all to wind down after a day of exploring while those needing to rest their paws doze in front of the open fire. Stairs lead you up to discover three cottage-style bedrooms where a restful night’s sleep in comfort awaits. Sit back and relax in your enclosed rear garden while the pups run around and explore.

The pretty coastal village of Tintagel (6 miles) is a charming place to explore. From there, take a walk along the coast path to Trebarwith Strand, where holidaying hounds will be able to run around and sniff out new adventures to their heart’s content. Travel a little further along the coast to Port Isaac (10.5 miles), the picturesque fishing village which features in the TV series Doc Martin. Spent a fantastic week here in October. The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped - plenty of space for our family of four plus the dog. Enclosed garden is pretty. Nice touch to provide logs for the fire and woodburner. It was no trouble to juggle the parking with neighbours. Lovely trips to Tintagel, Trebarwith Strand and Polzeath as well as waRead morelking on Bodmin Moor. Shops and pubs/food within walking distance (Mason's Arms particularly welcoming). Would thoroughly recommend! Hide

The cottage was in a good location and was well equipped. It was more spacious than you think when first entering the cottage. The back garden was kept very tidy and enclosed which was ideal for our dogs. Parking for more than two cars could be a problem.

Great place to stay, cottage just lovely, large fenced in garden perfect for kids and dogs. 2 log burners and a nice large kitchen diner which we made good use of. Beds incredibly comfortable and bathroom big. Camelford has lots to offer especially the walks and the fab fish & chip shop! Highly recommended a visit J Clark & family

Beautiful cottage a home from home with a welcome tea tray and biscuits on arrival. We had everything we needed. We will happily stay here again as secure for my dog and she settled well.

A lovely cottage in a lovely location. Only a short drive to a number of beautiful coastal spots. Good amenities in Camelford, great walks and the cottage is quaint and in a peaceful, quiet location. Although we found the cottage a good base for our holiday we did have some problems. I have mobility issues and vetted the description before booking. The traditional staircase is a spiral staircase with no banister, so I struggled. There were other things which did not make for a good stay. The lack of comfort in the lounge, the some items in the Read morekitchen could have been cleaner. On the plus side, there is a great chippy in the village. Hide
