At the heart of the kitchen/diner is a warming wood burner which will prove popular with tired canines sleeping off the day’s adventures, while you gather around the dining table for a delicious meal. Snuggly sofas invite you all to wind down after a day of exploring while those needing to rest their paws doze in front of the open fire. The pretty coastal village of Tintagel (6 miles) is a charming place to explore. From there, take a walk along the coast path to Trebarwith Strand, where holidaying hounds will be able to run around and sniff out new adventures to their heart’s content. Travel a little further along the coast to Port Isaac (10.5 miles), the picturesque fishing village which features in the TV series Doc Martin. The spectacular Bodmin Moor is 6 miles from the cottage and offers some fantastic walks for everyone.
