For special occasions to be shared with your canine companions, this seven-bedroom property sleeping up to 20+ 2 guests is top dog. With 8 acres of grounds to explore and an outdoor pool to practise doggy paddle in, this is a truly magnificent destination for a celebration. Set on the outskirts of Dursley village, step out of the gates on to the Cotswold Way for lovely walks with breathtaking views. Stroll to the village for a drink in one of the dog-friendly village pubs or treat yourself in one of the welcoming cafes. Step back in time on a long walk to Uley Long Barrow (4 miles) for views across to the River Severn.

Tails will wag as you approach your imposing Georgian manor through the gardens and woodland. The chefs among you will appreciate the elegant kitchen/diner, fully equipped to cater for large parties. Enjoy breakfast looking out over the pool or, for formal meals, gather together in the atmospheric 17th-century dining room. Play parlour games in the spacious sitting room as your hound snoozes in front of the open fire or sit and chat in the snug with its cosy wood burner. There are seven luxurious bedrooms within the house, three of which have en-suite facilities. Your outside space is equally impressive with extensive grounds for daily walks. Cool your paws in the swimming pool, relax in the hot tub or get competitive in the games room.

Take the lead along the Lantern Way for a leisurely circular walk through the pretty Cotswold villages of Dursley, Coaley and Uley. Sniff out the sculpture trail through Twinberrow Woods (1 mile) as you wander through the peaceful woodlands. Further afield, your dog can enjoy a swim in the designated dog area at the dog-friendly lakeside beach in the Cotswold Water Park (18 miles) where there are miles of trails leading through the scenic landscape.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £1,000 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.
