The perfect family bolthole, an ideal base whatever the season. This comfortable house has a wood burner and is within easy reach of the beach at West Bay and all the amenities Bridport has to offer.

Embark on a jaunt to the fabulous Jurassic Coast with friends, family and furry companions. Adventure by day and challenge fellow guests in the games room at night, or enjoy sundowner evenings under the stars in the large garden. Adventures can be had across coast and country as this bolthole sits between two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The welcoming hallway can become a home for muddy boots and leads before you choose from a handful of cosy spots in the lounge where there is plenty of sofa space. The bay window lets the natural light flood inside creating a calming ambience and the wood burner throws heat into the space keeping the cold at bay. Cook up a storm in the spacious kitchen before plating up in the fabulous dining room and raising a toast to adventures. This room boasts garden views and doors which open out onto a charming terrace; here you can dine alfresco or step down to the garden which is home to an unfenced pond and changes in levels, so keep an eye on younger guests. Get competitive in the games room over a game of table football, air hockey or pool before climbing the stairs to rest tired eyes in one of three light and airy bedrooms. Catch sea glimpses when you wake before showering and heading down for your morning brew.

Less than 2 miles from the centre of bustling Bridport, you can roam the independent shops, boutiques and cafes before making your way to West Bay, a 1-mile trip. The beach at West Bay welcomes furry friends over winter months so take a flask and frolic in the sand or grab a portion of fish and chips to fill hungry tums. The local golf course is a mile from home so those with clubs can tee off and take to the green.

Cotley is an excellent holiday home! We couldn't fault it at all. It's a beautiful house set in amazing grounds which were brilliant for our children and dog to explore. We just spent a lovely 5 days at Cottley, despite the weather. Comfy, spacious cottage for 6 of us. Well equipped kitchen. Fabulous garden for the kids. The games room was a real hit with the boys, especially the foosball/airhockey/pool table! And the icing on the cake was the log burner while the rain poured outside!

Our second visit and hope to be back again next year. Cotley is cosy and comfortable. 1930s features are interesting and unusual. House has a relaxing atmosphere, allows you to switch off completely. Lovely views down to West Bay and surrounding hills. Lots of good places to eat out especially the fish and chips!!!

Very comfortable and spacious, and also well equipped cottage. Lovely garden and really enjoyed sitting out on the patio. There were also good views, especially upstairs. Lovely house that suited our needs. Great location, lovely morning and evening walks into west bay. Although the road outside can get busy it never caused us a problem. Enjoyed it so much we've booked to go again.

Arrived to a cottage that had not been cleaned, after speaking to the agents some cleaners were sent to rectify this. The carpet in the lounge could definitely do with a deep cleaning. Apart from this it has most things you need along with a large garden and close proximity to the beach and town centre.
