Two restful bedrooms can be found on the first floor which is reached via cottage-style stairs – a lovely king-size room and a charming twin, both with glorious views. Stepping outside, the large garden features plenty of space for dogs to roam, as well as outdoor furniture so you can enjoy al fresco meals while watching the local bird and animal life.
The cottage is just a mile from Kinlochbervie, a popular fishing village in the north-west of the Highlands, with plenty of opportunities for hillwalking, climbing, bird watching, kayaking and fishing. There are miles of windswept coastal paths for your canines to sniff out, with beautiful beaches and sandy bays nearby including Oldshoremore Beach (3.5 miles), Sango Bay (17.5 miles) and Scourie (14 miles). Attractions and landmarks include Cape Wrath (28 miles), Smoo Cave (18 miles), the Kyle of Durness (15 miles) and Loch Laxford (10 miles).
