This beautiful thatched cottage oozes charm and character creating the perfect surroundings for a romantic or relaxing break in the Heart of England.

This chocolate-box cottage is located in the heart of Bedfordshire, amongst rolling countryside. It sleeps four across two bedrooms, ideal for a small family or a couple looking for a romantic break that includes their beloved canine too. With countryside walks right on the doorstep, Fido will be in his element sniffing hedgerows and chasing rabbits through the paddock.
It’s not just a treat for your four-legged friend though – with your own private hot tub, you can kick back with a glass of wine to recharge your batteries.

The thatched cottage is bursting with original features which give the property plenty of character. Exposed wooden beams run throughout while an inglenook fireplace with the original bread oven takes centre stage in the lounge. Comfortable sofas beckon after a day of exploring, while Fido rests at your feet on the large living room rug. The traditional cottage kitchen houses a table for dining in or, on sunny evenings, head outside to the rear decked area which offers uninterrupted views across the thoughtfully landscaped garden. You will be sure to wake feeling refreshed after a deep slumber in the cosy beds; don’t forget to bring Fido’s bed so he can catch up on his beauty sleep too.

A great place to stay quiet and relaxing. My only negative was the lack of a washing machine.

Thank you Graham and Janet. Lovely chocolate box cottage with all the mod cons. Peaceful, private surroundings with a hot tub to boot! We would definitely book again in the future.

Very charming cottage! We loved our stay. The cottage and the garden are wonderful and even better equipment than we expected. We spend a week there and found something interesting and fun to do in the area every single day. Thank you!

We loved the cottage and it worked well for a family of 4. It was lovely and warm and we enjoyed the hot tub a lot. We'd go again but without our dog unless the garden was made secure.

The kitchen and toilet were not clean on arrival. Otherwise the accommodation was comfortable - bed and sofas very comfortable and the central heating very quick and effective. The garden is very pretty and well kept and there is a really lovely view out over the field immediately behind the cottage. The location was very peaceful and rural and I eRead morenjoyed a number of walks in the lanes immediately surrounding the cottage. Hide
