Sitting in a courtyard with four other properties on the complex, there’s a warm welcome from your friendly hosts. Young children will love meeting and feeding the farm including horses, alpacas, pigs, and chickens, and you’ll find ample parking on site with your own private drive. And shops, pubs and restaurants are nearby in the pretty market town of Ilfracombe (4 miles).
Step up to enter the cottage which is beautifully laid out for families with children and curious pups. Inside you’ll find an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area all on one level, with TV and DVD. The kitchen is well-equipped for busy guests, and there’s a family bathroom, a large double bedroom, and a bedroom with three single beds. Step down to the private enclosed exterior courtyard garden – perfect for relaxing while little one's potter and canine pals enjoy sunny siestas. You’ll also find an open field by the property where Mutley and friends can gad about between canine day trips to the beach and moors.
On-site, there are shared guest areas, including a toddler zone with pond dipping and animal handling, a children’s play area (children should be supervised) and a barn with games, books, toys and videos. Surfers and sun-seekers will enjoy the beaches at Ilfracombe (4.5 miles), Woolacombe (7 miles), and Saunton (10 miles). Hikers will be drawn to the rugged landscape of Exmoor National Park (8.5 miles). Further afield, enjoy shops and galleries in Barnstaple (9 miles) or take a trip to Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (7 miles).
