This period property has been lovingly updated to offer a tasteful blend of old and new, perfect for a romantic getaway in North Wales.

For couples or small families and their canine companions, this delightful coastal cottage located in the pretty village of Nefyn is a short stroll to the seafront and the dog-friendly Eastern Beach, ideal for long walks along the golden sands and doggy paddles in the clear blue water. Take the lead along the Llyn Coast Path to sniff out idyllic coves and tranquil beaches for a picnic. Visit the end of the Llyn Peninsula, Aberdaron (13 miles), for incredible coastal views and walks along the Mynydd Mawr headland.

Tails will wag as you approach your traditional cottage and enter through the stained glass door. Your cottage has a fresh, contemporary style, decorated in cool tones with many retained original features. Prepare delicious dinners in the compact but well-designed kitchen and share meals around the cosy dining table. Relax in the charming lounge/diner - sink into one of the comfortable seats and warm paws in front of the wood burner. At the end of the day, snuggle up in the restful bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with white-washed floorboards and pastel soft-furnishings. There is also a bright shower room. Outside, dine alfresco on the pretty patio, or take the steps to the decked terrace for an early evening drink.

With lovely walks straight from the doorstep, your cottage’s location is not to be sniffed at. Stroll to the tiny hamlet of Porthdinllaen (2 miles), sniffing out rock pools and spotting seals basking on the distant rocks. Explore the popular seaside resort of Abersoch (12.5 miles) where you can wander along the beach and watch boats sailing into harbour. Head to Pwllheli (7 miles) to wander the bustling streets or set sail on a wildlife cruise from the marina.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The beautiful cottage is a 10 minute walk from the beach and Wales Coastal path, around the corner from Lleyn Maritime Museum, and only a short distance by car from neighbouring towns and Snowdonia. Most destinations are accessible without a car as there is a regular 15 minute bus service into Pwllheli. Change tRead morehere for most places. Also check out the Bws Arfordir minibus service.
