An exquisite compact studio set in the prosperous and thriving market town of Skipton with its high street, filled with a plethora of shops from independent stores to butchers and bakers.

Enjoy a romantic getaway with your loved one and your favourite four-legged pal in this stylish studio. Located on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with its remote landscapes and designated dark-sky areas, it’s easy to escape the hustle and bustle and fully unwind on a long walk with the woofer. There are some great dog-friendly attractions nearby, including the medieval Skipton Castle (0.5 miles away) and Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway (2 miles away).

This quirky property is full of chic features and vibrant flashes of colour, to create a truly unique setting. The open-plan layout makes the studio feel bright and airy, with plenty of space for the three of you to spread out and relax. Hard floors run throughout the property, making it nice and easy to deal with the odd muddy pawprint. In the morning, sip your first coffee of the day at the stylish breakfast bar before heading out for a stroll around the pretty streets with the pup or popping next door to the owner’s delightful cafe. After a fun day of exploring, slip into one of the cosy bathrobes and enjoy a spot of pampering before sinking into the sumptuous king-size bed.

The lively market town of Skipton is packed with independent boutiques, cafes and pubs; this is proper walkers’ territory, so many welcome furry visitors with open arms. Journey back in time on the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, and majestically cruise through the Yorkshire countryside with your canine companion by your side. Hop off at Bolton Abbey and take a gentle 1.5-mile stroll to explore the ruins of the abbey. Alternatively, head into the national park and take on one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Pen-y-ghent offers fabulous views and is just over 20 miles away.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

I stayed at the studio for a week and it was perfect. Close to the heart of Skipton but also quiet. The studio had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable. Food in the cafe upstairs was delicious too - highly recommend.

Lovely, friendly and welcoming host. Compact accommodation, perfectly placed to enjoy Skipton: waterways, town centre, castle, shops, market, cafes, restaurants and pubs one way .... supermarkets and rail station the other! And yet, quiet overnight!

Great location in the heart of the town close to all Skipton has to offer. Considering its closeness to the busy town it's a very quiet area which made for a good nights sleep in the comfy bed. We liked the contemporary well designed interior and top quality appliances. Also very happy with the undercover private parking. It all helped to create a Read morenice relaxed atmosphere after a day out in the Yorkshire Dale's. Hide
