Barn conversion for an adult-only break, close to the pretty harbour town of Looe and with easy access to many of Cornwall’s attractions.

This property is situated on a ten-acre picturesque plot, close to the attractive fishing port of Looe. The land, complete with grazing sheep. The grounds also attract many forms of wildlife and offer walks through woodland, meadow land and around a deep pond, which guests are invited to enjoy responsibly. Just half a mile from the property and accessible on foot is the village of Herodsfoot, where keen walkers can join the West Looe Valley Trail. As well as Looe, there are a number of other interesting towns and villages in the local area, including Polperro, with its restaurants, craft galleries, sandy beach, tidal pool, and pleasure boat trips. A little further away, but still within easy reach, the world-renowned Eden Project is a must-see for visitors to the area.

Two steps up to the front door bring guests to this single-storey barn conversion. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner lounge has high ceilings with exposed beams and a wood burner. There is also a TV with DVD and freesat, here for guests to enjoy after a day out exploring the local area. There is a window-side dining table for two, perfect for romantic meals or a lazy breakfast. The kitchen area is equipped with an intergrated oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. There is a separate, shared laundry room with the washing machine and tumble dryer, that guests can use for a small charge which is payable directly to the owner. The property’s bedroom is a comfortable king-size with a spacious en-suite bathroom which has a shower over bath and WC.

Outside, there is an enclosed garden to the front of the property with a patio area, outdoor seating and a BBQ.  Guests are alsoinvited to use the shared grounds. There is ample off-road parking.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A delightful, rural cottage, which was warm, comfortable with good furnishings and fixtures. We we greeted with a smile and a lovely presentation of cornish scrumptious delights. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden and Meadows to walk in.

Beautiful property in idyllic setting , within easy reach of nearby Liskeard , Duloe twenty five minutes on foot community shop and Plough inn great food and dog friendly. Sam and Mark the owners were on hand but not in your face . Cream tea in fridge on arrival very nice touch. Immaculate well equipped and cosy cottage a real home from home very wRead morearm laundry room available if needed, lovely grounds to walk dog . Willow cottage was perfect for us and our dog. The cottage has everything you need in terms of equipment in the kitchen, plus ironing board/iron, hairdryer. The cottage has a small fenced area which is perfect for letting the dog out first thing/last thing at night. The owners also allow you to use the garden which is great for quick walkies. The lRead moreocation is very peaceful but within a couple of miles of Duloe with its lovely pub. The cottage was spotlessly clean, bright and comfortable. Hide

Lovely quiet location. No phone signal but the wifi was good so we could still keep in touch with family. Host were very friendly but left us to enjoy the holiday, were on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend to friends quite happily.

Upon our arrival at Willow Cottage we were greeted by Sam who showed us around and explained were everything was. The cottage was very clean and tidy containing a booklet with detailed maintenance instructions and places to visit during our stay. We had a great time and would be happy to return to the cottage. A lovely peaceful location where you can truely get away from it all - yet the main sights of Cornwall are all within travelling distance. The beautiful garden grounds are ideal for dogs who can explore them on a lead. The cottage is very clean and attractive and the hosts are friendly without being intrusive. Comfortable, well equipped and warm little cottage big enough for two with two medium dogs. Although the garden area attached to the cottage is fenced small dogs could escape underneath to chase owners chickens if inclined!! So long leads may be required here. We did walk on the surrounding country roads as they were quiet but watch out for the occRead moreasional unleashed country dog who noisily greets you if your dogs are nervous! The cottage and surounding area is lovely and peaceful plenty to see and do some really nice walks with the dogs and this a dog friendly property. Fresh egg daily from the farm and loads of logs to be burnt on the log burner if needed
