A rural idyll situated 7 miles inland from the South Cornwall coast, this single-storey barn conversion not only accommodates up to six guests but also up to four dogs. The enclosed garden and patio provide a lovely spot to sit out and enjoy al fresco drinks, whilst inside the cosy lounge has plenty of space for all guests including the four-legged ones to relax in front of the wood burner.
With a quaint country feel, this property is a cosy retreat from the outside world and a relaxing escape from the stresses and strains of daily life. The lounge is a particularly welcoming room with a large fireplace housing a warming wood burner which acts as a central point in the property for guests to gather round in the evenings. Although the property is set out across one level, there are two steps which separate the living area from the bedroom area. There are three bedrooms, each offering their own TV, whilst the master bedroom also boasts an en-suite shower room.
It may feel secluded and far away from all the hustle and bustle of the main resort towns, but in fact, this peaceful paradise is situated only 7 miles from the pretty sandy cove at Maenporth. This gorgeous beach welcomes dogs during the low season, although they aren’t allowed from Easter through to the end of October. If you are holidaying in the summer you may prefer to head to the beaches on the Helford River estuary such as Helford Passage and the private beach at Polgwidden Cove which can be found within the picturesque surroundings of Trebah Garden, 6 miles south of the cottage.
